Most annoying or best place to get stuck/delayed??

On our last trip to the world. We were delayed on the Great Movie Ride in the Tarzan section. We sat there for a couple minutes with Tarzan swinging on his vine yelling his "Tarzan" call. Later that night at dinner, we decided that would not be a good place to get stuck - as after a while his yell was very annoying.

On Buzz Lightyear - we got delayed again - DS 11 had a prime shooting spot and was able to keep shooting the same high scoring icon until we got moving again - me?, I got stuck in between two scenes and had nothing to shoot at.

So for the rest of the trip at dinner, one topic was the best and worst place to get stuck.

Best places thus far have been during the summer and I was dead tired from walking all day.

1. Expedition Everest...in the cavern with the Yeti....laying/tilted down... looking directly at the Yeti so we were able to take pictures...AND IT WAS AIR CONDITIONED!

2. Spaceship Earth...ready to go back down...laying/tilted down...low music and dark and so soothing...AND IT WAS AIR CONDITIONED!

We got stuck on Test Track within the first minute of the ride. It wasn't fun.. we were stuck going up the incline hill in the building. Not much to look at, and we were there for a while!

I think that the best place to get stuck would be inside the Winnie the Pooh ride! The whole ride is just so cute.. I can't get enough of it!

Let me preface by telling you that I loathe Haunted Mansion. I mean it does nothing for me and I do not like scary rides. So basically I do it for DH who loves it and so I take one for the team. It was bad enough when they had the old attic.....eyes always closed in there....but the new one is even worse and I can't stand that Bride she creeps me out so bad

So worst spot...in a Doom Buggy stranded in the attic, 4 feet from that thing, for 15 minutes with the lights on and that heart beat...thumping....thumping.....thumping.

My eyes were well rested after that ride and I know I looked stupid...not that anyone else could see....head tucked down, eyes closed, trying to look relaxed or like I was sleeping at least

Love getting stuck so that I can see details that I miss. My fav's are Spaceship Earth, POTC, HM. Peter Pan not too bad either. As much as I love IASW, I would hate to get stuck there.

DH and DS were stuck at the top of Splash Mountain in September. They were hoping to see the fireworks from there, but the ride started moving again. I think that was a MNSSHP night. I think that would be a great place to be delayed. The worst might be IaSW.

I got stuck in that room with the hieroglyphics on TGMR and after 20-25 minutes we'd all decided to get out and make a break for it. It wasn't the being stuck...it was the noise! It was making us all crazy. No wonder they use noise to torture people. It works!

Just as people began to get up, it ended, we moved.

I can't help but hold a grudge against that room and am still unable to enjoy it.

IMHO the worst place would to be stuck at the airport on the way to WDW

The best, to be stuck in Orlando when we're due to fly home (as long as we find out before we get to the airport)

I would dread being stuck in Small World.

DS 11 said that would be cool only if the animatronics come to life in the Kingdom Keepers otherwise not so much...

I got stuck in Small World in what can only be deemed as the "heaven for the dead dolls," room. What made it worse was that my smart butt nephew kept pointing out the evil little clown doll because I hate clowns. Love that kid.

I would like to get stuck on POTC, Buzz, Peter Pan, Nemo, Safari, or TSM. I would not like the get stuck on the first row of Soarin while in the air, IASM, or Dinosaur. I would be freaking out with that big dinosaur screaming in my face.

I got stuck once on the Peoplemover...while it was inside Space Mountain...in the completely dark area....that was weird.

I wouldn't mind getting stuck in POTC or Haunted Mansion

I got stuck going up a hill on splash mountain, that was uncomfortable.

I was also stuck in the dining room in Haunted Mansion, and that was lots of fun

Been stuck a couple of times but the absolute worst was POTC.

Right before that little drop in the dark something happened to the water level and you could feel the boat scrape against the bottom and we were on the edge. It was complete blackness until my DH dug out his cell phone. You couldn't tell the drop was very small it felt it like hanging out vertical on the top of splash mountain.

The kids were terrified! Me too but I wasn't screaming crying.

Didnt know anyone else called it this but I totally agree.
As much as I love IASW and it is a classic I would not enjoy being stuck on this ride for any length of time.

The other ride I would not enjoy being stuck on would be the creepy floating ghosts room thing in TOT where all tht Twilight zone things float past, I dont think I would ever be able to get on that ride again even if it is one of my favourite rides.


One of the best places to get stuck would have to be the backwards descent at the end of spaceship earth, you know the part with the blue lights. It is air conditioned, comfy and I find the blue lights hypnotizing.

it would be a bonus if the julie andrews voice continued to play as I love to hear her talk, I wouldn't even care if she was just reading her shopping list

The best place to get stuck would be either in the 'rainforest' room on living with the land (as long as they cut the narration), or the going backwards part on Spaceship Earth with all of the stars (naptime!). The worst place.... hmmm.... in the graveyard scene of the HM where those heads pop up and scare you or ANYWHERE on IASW.

Just got back from the World yesterday. My sister and I got stuck on Test Track...while we were outside and on one of the sideways curves on the track. This was not very fun. We kept trying to grip the sides of the car in order to try and avoid sliding down the seats and into the other person in our row.

We also got stuck on Tower of Terror, right before the elevator doors open the 2nd time and the car moves forward. We were there for about 15 minutes. This was interesting, mainly because of the reactions of other people. I do fine in small enclosed spaces, but there was a woman on the ride who was very panicked. A group of high school boys in the front row broke out into a rousing rendition of It's a Small World. When the ride began to move again, we ended up doing the rest of it with the lights on, including the drop. This was very cool to see.

Luckily, both times we were given fast passes to ride again later.
