Most accurate weather site

What is your favorite weather website? The one that you've found most accurate for national weather forecast. I've used weather.com and accuweather.com and they often conflict. I want to like accuweather better because it's more optimistic .

This is for the layman of course. I don't want to be analyzing radars or weather trends or anything. I just want someone to tell me what the sky is going to do on any given day!

I know we have a lot of travel fans on these boards, so I'm sure some of you have weather forecasters that you swear by. Share!

In Texas we rely on the "Psychics Network".

This is one of those things that really work against itself. If one was more accurate than another, then that would be the only one that anyone would concern themselves with. So the others would find out how they're so accurate (and since meteorology is a science, there is no proprietary secrets to prevent them from doing so). So, essentially, as soon as anyone gets more accurate, everyone gets more accurate.

I have found weather.com to be pretty good. When I lived in Florida the most accurate for hurricanes was Yahoo Weather by FAR.

I have found the national sites much better than local because the local sites love to scare you into thinking the weather is worse then it will be so you tune into their weather segment. I'm no suggesting that they lie but that they always assume the worst possible conditions instead of the most likely. This was never more the case then the local stations in FL always predicting the hurricane would hit us head on even when probability said it wouldn't.
