Mosquitos in January?

Mosquitos like me--A LOT! I always get the most bites every year in my family, and was wondering if i will need to worry about these pesky critters while in the world in January! Anyone that has traveled before in January, please let me know! We are going Dec 30th to Jan 11th! Should I pack bug spray just to be safe?

If you have somewhere near that sells AVON products buy their skin-so -soft woodland fresh range the mozzies don't like it .

I know people who swear by putting dryer sheets in their pockets - controls bugs and you smell good too..

I do not recall seeing or hearing a single mosquito during our Jan 2002. And we ran the gamut of hot and sunny, rainy and cool during the week. ............P

We live in Central Florida and stay in Fort Wilderness every January or February.

Mosquitoes have never been a problem. Cold air usually keeps them away. Rainy months (march-november) are the worst time for mosquitoes!
