Mosquito's at the resots and parks, lack of

Hi,

We just came back from POR Riverside. It's hot, rains for 20 mins everyday, lots of wooded areas and rivers / water, yet no Mosquitos. The swimming pool is surrounded by brush and trees and not a one.

I go outside my house in Atlanta and they are all over me.
What is the secret? Constant spraying via trucks, Mosquito magnets hidden all over the place?

Hey Steve...

They do spray quite consistently for mosquitos.. The 'love bugs' on the other hand are much difficult to control and that's why you see thousands of them during their peak times..

I just got back, too. Although while I was there we had more than than 20 minutes of rain a day. Wednesday or Thursday, for instance, it rained for 6 or 7 hours.

I got eaten alive sitting on the balcony at the Poly!! Seriously, mosquito bites all over. I'm happy for you that you missed out on the fun! But there are some of the buggars around, that's for sure.
