Mosquitoes?

Can anyone tell me how mosquitoes have been lately? Any parks or resorts better than others?

I had no problems in mid-June. In fact, I don't know that I was bitten at all.

The only place I have ever had a problem with mosquitoes on Disney property is at Port Orleans Riverside at the quiet pools after dusk. I think the fake bayou look caused some standing water which is a breeding ground for these critters. After about 5 minutes of sitting pool side we had a good dozen mosquitoes buzzing around us so we packed it in for the night, which stinks seeing as a late evening pool adventure is our perfect end to a park day. Other than this one experience I can't recall even seeing a mosquito on property.

Heard a rumor that the Mosquitoes were staying away because of the increase in dining prices and because of all the attraction closures at Hollywood Studios.

The mosquitoes must like the way our family tastes because we were each (8 of us) bitten at once or twice on our trip at the end of June. It wasn't anything major but it was definitely more than we've ever been bitten before. I think all of the bites occurred at MK.

I got two bites at Hollywood Studios last week. But, mosquitoes find me no matter where I go.
