I just read a post on the Resorts board that POR was full of mosquitos last November. We've always gone to WDW in early May or late Jan. - early Feb.---never any problem with mosquitos. For 2005, we're planning on early October...does anyone know if this is part of any noticeable mosquito season in Florida?

Thanks!

Mosquitos come when it is has been warm and there are rain showers. A cold snap will kill them off, temporarily.

We also mosquitos on the coast during November . . . and we don't get our first cold snap (24 hours long) until at least the last week of October.

You can have a mosquito problem in areas that don't get enough wind or have standing water.

It's Florida... as long as it is warm and wet, there will be mosquitos. Just bring your spray with you and you should be OK!
