I thought I would post this for those of you who are looking for a nice restaurant experience, even thought it's offsite.
Morton's Steakhouse is on Harbor Blvd, near the Marriott hotel.
My son's (Nick) birthday was yesterday (22), and his girlfriend took him there for a dinner celebration. He rated it above Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel. (We had eaten dinner for Easter there last year, and he loved our experience, as the food and service were excellent; however, he went there w/his girlfriend for her birthday in November, and they received lackluster service, which affected the enjoyment of their dinner, especially since the restaurant wasn't full.)
She made reservations, noting that it was Nick's birthday and she didn't want to tell anyone after they arrived at the restaurant, but wanted him to get some birthday attention. Well, she & Nick were really impressed.
Their menus came and were personalized with "Happy Birthday, Nick." They received excellent service throughout the night, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice, and well lit. Also, their picture was taken and put in a small black cardboard frame with "Happy Birthday Nick" written on the border around their picture

Nick had the porterhouse steak, and Yasmin had chicken, with sides of garlic mashed potatoes and macaroni & cheese. They both rated the food as absolutely outstanding.
Thought I would share for those who would like to have a nice meal outside of the parks while visiting Disneyland Resort.
