It's a bright beautiful day here in Indy. It's supposed to get hot again today, but I'll be inside working.

Bri had her first drill this weekend. She said they fed her well, but tried to kill her. She wasn't in as good a shape as she thought. lol
She was extremely amazed on how fast she could wake up and be up. They woke them up at 4:20am and expected them to be on the parade field at 4:25. And she did it. That's what amazes me. Someone stole my kid and put an imposter in her place. That's just not possible.

She had a lot of PT and classes packed into this weekend. I bet she slept really good last night.


Anyway, how's the weather where you are, and how are you all doing? Well, I hope.

that is all I know of it, my mom would just repeat that line, in the winter when we were cold.


We really are havin a heat wave, mid 90's heat index 105 or something like that, I need to do some running around so I better get to it early!

Days like this I just want to pack up my kids (DH won't go) and go back to Michigan. I was talking about that and DH said the other day, if you could even talk me into moving, DETROIT is not where we would go... A knife in the back I tell you. So what if they hover in the top five of the murder capital title, it is home to me!

Sunny, warm, up to 84 today, with increasing humidity. Chance of severe weather later this afternoon and this evening.

I know what you mean, Laurie. DD Jennifer was at summer camp last week. She stayed in a cabin with 16 other girls, and they were limited to 10 MINUTES for their shower!!! (This girl usually ties up the bathroom for hours!!!)

Of course, the minute she returned, she was back to her old habits again . . .
