from past experience, if you are referring to a snorkeling trip -- you will have drinks served only after snorkeling is done...Not sure what excursions you are referring to.

Typically they tell you that you will not be allowed to snorkel if you choose to indulge prior to the snorkeling part of the excursion. Therefore, most folks wait to indulge until the return trip.

On all the snorkeling excursions I've done they do not even OFFER any alcoholic beverages until after the snorkeling.
