Morning EMH on check in day

We are scheduled for a trip July 1-5 at Port Orleans Riverside and on July1st is EMH in the morning at Hollywood. We are looking to get a jump on the crowd to toy story land. Hopefully we can get fast passes for slinky (fingers crossed at 60 day mark), but would stand by aliens and toy story mania during EMH's/ park opening. So, my question is since we need to show a room key will checking in online do that or will we have to physically check in at like 6:30 am then hop the bus to Hollywood for EMH's? TIA

Use online check-in and you’ll be good to go that early morning.
Guests usually don’t ever once have to go to a WDW resort front desk during an entire trip.
