Anyone gone to M.K, on a morning emh day? How crazy does the park get? We're trying to get in Buzz a few times, pooh, peter pan, space mtn all by 9am; then get to rope drop down to run to Spash, Big Thunder and Haunted Mansion all before 10:30?? Can this happen? Then if park gets crazy leave midday to pool and come back at night? Is this a good plan, leaving next week?

Hi,

That's a pretty ambitious plan to have all that done by 9. If you were going on a weekday at a slow time (like most of September or January), you might be able to get it done by 9. But next week, weekday or weekend, I doubt it.

Good luck though!

Do Fantasyland stuff first, then head over to Tomorrowland and do Buzz/SM. With just two FS rides, you should be able to get all four of those done by 9 if you are walking in the gates to EMH at 8 am. I wouldn't bother with rope drop/running to BTM & Splash -- those still won't fill up before about 11 on most days. Take the path from Tomorrowland to Toontown and ride the train around to Frontierland. You'll get off right at Splash. Grab a fastpass for the one that has the longest wait (if necessary) and ride the other. Chances are you won't even need FP yet. Then walk to HM and ride it. I think on most days, you can get all this in by 10:30 or 11 when the crowds arrive. But like Bob said, if it's a Saturday or 4th of July week, fuhgettaboutit.

We were at MK on Easter Sunday. EMH was from 7-8. In that hour we rode Space Mountain, Buzz (twice), Peter Pan, Mickey's Philharmagic (very few people in the theatre), Winnie the Pooh. At the rope about 5 minutes til 8 (after a bathroom break) High tailed it to Splash Mountain for fast pass, rode BTMRR, no wait. Kids rode it again, no wait. Then we did our Splash FP. At 9 a.m. I was tired and ready to call it a day. Sent the kids off while me and DH went and got bagels.

We left after lunch and it was a zoo. Everything had about an hour or more wait.

We had two teenagers so we could move pretty quickly. If you have little ones it might take longer. It also helped that this was about our 20th trip so we knew where we were going. (no time to look at a map :rotfl2: )

We were at MK during spring break and the park opened at 7am. We got through the gates around 7:10, stopped for several character pics, and finished Fantasyland (except for Philharmagic) by 8am. We even had our own boat for IASW. Then we headed to the Indy Race track then the bakery for a bite to eat (yummy!) Then we headed over to Adventureland and hit all of those rides without wait (a 15 minute line for aladin). Luckily there were 2 parades that day, so were were able to leave the park after the parade (i think it was 1:00). the park was quite crowded by then and we were happy to go back to the hotel and relax! Definitely go for emh...we did it twice that week and it made life with a 2 year old very nice! Have a great trip!
