Has anyone been lately? Is it a madhouse like the nighttime hours seem to be?

Last year there was a rumor that if you drove to the park you wouldn't be able to get in early, that the toll booths weren't open. Any word on that this summer?

We went slow season, got there before the gates opened, maybe 1/2 hour.
Really only a handful of people there. Got busier in the afternoon.
They soon let us in to the oasis, then the character safari bus came, rope walk to the safari. Practically walked on, animals were super active.
Don't know about parking, we took the bus from Ft. Wild.

I'd also like to know if AK is as bad as MK on its late night? Is to worth the crowd to see the park at night?
