Morning EMH at AK

Since AK opens at 9:00 now instead of 8:00 was thinking of going on the morning EMH day. I know you should avoid the park that has early EMH because they get so crowded by the afternoon. I really don't want to go to AK for the morning and then leave around noon since it is only open til 7:00 anyway. Was wondering if anyone does the early EMH and how is it?

I did it a while ago and it worked out fine. Since it closes early, we stayed the whole day but got all the popular stuff done early. In the afternoon we just kind of wandered around hitting the less crowded stuff. We normally would do the half day thing if the hours were better but not at AK. Have a great trip!
