Morning /Early Daytime Balcony Sun

Hello, we are going to Aulani first time next mth. We have a 1 bedroom island gardens view...any suggestions of what to ask for if we enjoy sun on balcony earlier in day and also to avoid an undesirable view? (if there is such a thing) many thanks.

If you don't mind, I'd like to piggyback on your thread. We arrive on the 26th and also have Island gardens view booked. I read that these rooms overlook the spa gardens and hotel next door. I'm afraid of heights so I'd rather be on a mid-level floor. Are views just as pleasant if you're not near the top floors? Also, can you fax requests to the resort? If so, what is the number?
