Good morning! It's supposed to be really nice out this weekend here! Tomorrow is the annual fireman's muster, parade & fireworks in town so it should be lots of fun! I think I'll try and clean today so it'll be done before the weekend! Have a great weekend everyone!!

It's sunny today, and kind of windy and cool. Today's looking to be a slow day, which will be nice, since yesterday was a really busy day. We're having an office party at 2:30 for one of the co-worker's birthday. Cake and ice cream, all around!

Good Morning all! BEE-U-TI-FUL day here. Windows open in work (work in a historical old house). It's Friday.

I get to meet my new landlord tomorrow. I'm nervous, I haven't been a tenant in over 18 years. He's letting us keep our cat and he said we can start moving things in, but can't live there till the 1st.

Morning, Laurie and all!

Beautiful here too! Makes me feel even worse for the Floridians.

We plan to try to get major work done on the log house this week. We are trying to get the Certificate of occupancy by the end of next week. We leave for Philadelphia September 28, and return on Oct. 5 in time for the baseball playoffs. Then we leave for WDW Oct. 15 and hope to return on the 22 for the WORLD SERIES! Can you tell I have confidence in my Minnesota Twins? We are season ticket holders, and this looks like the most promising season since we last won the world series in 1991!

Here in Miami:
Lots of worried floridians watching Ivan (hurricane Ivan). Got up extra early to stand in line to fill up my gas tank on my car.

Will be going to grocery store later in the day to stock up on anything non perishable.

Work is going to last for an eternity today, I can just feel it.

This weekend should be interesting. We're dropping all the cabling for my companies new office building, we were going to hire someone but it's not a hard job so... Should take both days & splitting the money 50/50...which means a load more spending money for Disney next week!
