Will it be possible to order items with no mushrooms?
My DD really wants to eat here.
I like Asian food but I do not eat fish or mushrooms.
Many of their dishes have mushrooms.

I'm sure they would do that for you. The food at Morimoto is cooked to order.

They will do whatever you want. I've seen them work around life threatening food allergies, so I don't think mushrooms would be a problem. Just ask. The food is amazing. I'm a wannabe foodie and a sushi snob and this is my favorite Asian restaurant in the area.

Well I asked about their buri bop...to see if I could get it with pork instead of yellow tail (I don't do fish) and was told no.

I should clarify when I said they will do anything. I meant they will omit ingredients (like mushrooms or other allergy inducing items) but probably will not change a signature dish's components.

They probably said no to pork because of the hot stone bowl table side preparation. The Buri (yellowtail) and the Wagyu beef are served seared with a raw or rare center. Pork has to be cooked all the way through to be served.

However, I agree the pork idea sounds delicious, maybe they should add a regular Pork Bibimbap to the menu too!
