Morimoto in Disney Springs?

We currently have a reservation for 7 at Morimoto on a Friday night. Is this an appropriate place for kids? I know they have a kids menu, but would it be frowned upon to have two 6 year-olds, a 4 year old and 3 year old in tow? With all the character dining and kid-centric stuff going on, we were thinking it might be nice to have a "parents pick" dinner.

I guess I'm not sure what to expect since the photos look a bit upscale.

It is Disney, and you can pretty much take your kids with you to almost any restaurant.

If you are feeling self-conscious about it, perhaps move your reservation up to 5-6 pm, that would avoid the adult dinner/date night crowd.

We went with our friends and their two children, we ate there before 5 pm, lots of people and pretty noisy.
Several drinks were spilled, staff was very nice about it.

We ate there and saw very few children. It was a big date night type of place when we were there. However, it is Disney, and if your children are well behaved restaurant goers, I think you will be fine. I think it's a beautiful restaurant and should keep the kids entertained. Have fun.

It is adult orientated. But it totally depends on how your children behave in a more upscale restaurant. Only you can answer that

7 PM on a Friday night is a prime reservation at peak time. The suggestion for an earlier reservation is spot on.

My wife and I ate there without the kids the last time we went. We saw kids and I'm sure it would be fine.

I think 6 PM will be fine. TBH I read your post wrong and took it as a reservation at 7pm instead of a reservation for 7. Whooops.
