take a ride to Knoebels or Kennywood. Which would be best for teens for a day trip, non Disney of course. I haven't been to any of these for a long long time.

It dependson where you're coming from. If you're already at the shore, I'd go with Morey's in Wildwood. Do the water slides during the day and the rides at night. I'm not sure, but I think they have some sort of ticket or something that let's you in the water parks on both piers. If you're say in the philly/allentown area, I'd take the drive to Kennywood or Knoebel's. They've both been shown on the travel channel as having some of the best rides in the country. Six Flags Great Adventure? Well....let's not even go there...LOL :teeth:

I practically grew up with Jim & Sean Morey's kids at Wildwood Crest during summers from about age 6 to 13...I got in free to the park a lot, but after going again and again...I'd pick Six Flags. The water slides at Raging Waters (part of Morey's piers) are cool, and the beach is nice, but as far as rides go...Six Flags blows Moreys out of the water. Morey's pier does have kind of a down-home quality to it, though...but a lot of the teen crowd hangs out there for reasons other than the feature content itself. *wink* *wink*...

I would personally do KNoebels... its a fun place and different.

Yes it is further, but it has a "theme park" in the middle of the woods feel to it. It feels like you are back in the 1960's.

Hershey Park is great too.

I think. I think of Kennywood because of the coasters shown on the Travel channel.

If we are taking about a weekday trip, I'd say Great Adventure.

Don't attempt it on Saturday or Sunday, though!
