I got to work this morning and was shocked to find that my desk looked like a tornado hit it. My stuff was all over the place, picture frames were moved, books were off the shelves, my pen holder was on the other side of my desk, a beany baby that was on my desk was in the middle of my desk. Papers had been rifled through and other stuff had been turned around and otherwise messed up.
A few of my co-workers had the same issue, but none as bad as mine.
You all might recall that Friday, I posted a thread called "Ewww" about my friend's candy dish (she works here too) having a nasty surprise left in it overnight (a tampon - hopefully not used...we didn't check).
This is probably the work of the cleaning crew, although they don't seem to have cleaned because there are crumbs all over my desk and it doesn't appear to have been cleaned.
IMO, this is unacceptable. Someone should be fired. You simply do not go to someone's desk and go through their stuff and if they were cleaning and had to move things, you move it then you put it back EXACTLY as you found it.
I wish I had my digital camera with me to take a picture. Right now, it's as it was when I found it this morning. My boss is going to email our building manager, although I prefer a more direct route of actually walking to her office and asking her to come and see.
Am I wrong to be this angry about it? My other co-workers were not, but I just think it is rude and unacceptable and who knows if they took something??
I now suspect it may have been them who put the surprise in my friends candy dish as well.
AGHHHHHH!!!!
