I just found the cutest valentine treats for kids to take to school. Here is the website with printable templates, pictures and directions for how to make the cutest things! One of them is a "whirllybird" that a person designed because their child was too old to take valentines...but then loved it and wanted to add candy to the bottom. Another is a lollipop that is turned into a daisy (or some kind of flower). Finally there is an alligator candy pocket.

Even if you don't make them...go look...they are too cute:

My son wants to make bookmarks for his Valentine treats this year. Could you make something with a Valentine/boy theme?

I hope you haven't already made something. I was able to find some already made that he liked.

Yep...I was already working on it...

Here is what I made. They aren't the traditional bookmark shape. I thought it would be fun to do something different...and this is the latest in bookmark trends. Anyways...if you happen to like this. Make sure you save it as I will delete it next week sometime to make room for other things in my photobucket. Also, please do not quote the images as it takes up bandwidth that I can't delete. Thanks.

If anyone decides to give these a go. Punch out the hole...then use red yarn or ribbon like you typically see with bookmarks. You could also use these as gift tags.

DELETED BUT YOU CAN FIND IT IN MY 4SHARED FILE IN THE BOOKMARK FILE

I haven't printed anything out. I love what you did better than the ones he found and I'm pretty sure he will to. I'll show them to him as soon as he gets up. Thank you for making these.

I LOVE :lovestruc:lovestruc these valentines. My daughter's favorite thing is anything animal print....she's 5. :rotfl: She is going to go nuts when I show her these. I haven't bought her any valentine's yet because she couldn't make her mind up as to what kind she wanted. I'm glad I didn't, now we can make these. :thumbsup2
