My daughter is hesitant to take her pins to trade on our trip this March.
She lost some last time. Do any of you know where I could buy more secure backs. Does Disney sell them?
Thanks, Deb

They do sell backs that you put on and use a small allen key to tighten. Not the most user friendly for trading in the parks though.

The new rubbery Mickey head ones usually hold pretty well...they sell new (packaged) ones at the park. Another option is to take the pins, but not wear them on a lanyard. Carry them in a baggie in her purse or bag (or your's if she doesn't carry one). I usually do that and then I don't have to worry about losing them on the rides.

disneypatriot on ebay sells a locking pin back that does not require a key and is easy to take on and off. The backs hold wonderfully.

I bought from that seller before my last trip and they worked great. I had ten pins on my lanyard with the locking backs and when I traded with cm's I would just ask if I could keep my pin back since it was a locking back and no one had a problem with that. The only problem was one time my mind was on something else and I gave the pin with the locking back to the cm and didn't realize until later.
