Cheapest way to get from Disneyland to Universal to Hollywood?

I see that people recommend Halloween at Universal orlando. What about Hollywood? DO you need to buy tickets? If yes, when do you buy? going to Disneyland Oct 14-19 and would like to do a day trip to Universal.

Tips please?

I was wondering the same thing myself. I wanted to plan a trip out but I was wondering about my options on getting from USH from Disneyland for the day.. I would rather not get a taxi since it's a pretty big distance.

There are tour busses that specifically do that trip and will pick you up at your hotel.

Welcome aboard. Rent the car. I use Thrifty. The bus from the airport takes you to their off site location. If you sign up for blue on their web site, you walk straight to the garage and pick up your car.

Yes, it is a far distance from Disney to USH, you literally drive thru downtown LA on the expressway. Depending on what time you go, traffic can be a parking lot.

So if you rent the car you can drive up early before rush hour. Plus you can visit other sites like Knotts Berry Farm or Six Flags Magic Mountain if you want to drive that far north. Knotts is easy, it's 10 minutes from Disney. SFMM, is 1 hour to the north, but wow, they've got some amazing thrill rides, including that B&M flyer I keep asking about.
