More rooms declared at BLT (phase 38, 40, and 89)

Disney has an 11 page "Condo Related" BLT document showing up on the OCC web site today (July 20). Previous declaration had a date approximately 27 days before the date on this paperwork.

Since phase 89 includes 2 Grand Villas, I think that brings BLT to 50% declared as far as points go. 9 GV are declared now and only 5 undeclared.

I'm not positive about this, but I think
38 is 3 2BR lockoffs (which can be split) likely lake view.
40 is 4 2BR dedicated (2 MK view and 2 LK view).
89 appears to be 2 GV and a another 2BR (not sure if it's a lockoff or dedicated).

Good luck with your BLT wait lists. Hopefully a few more board members get their wish.

Now for how sales are going,

One thing to remember is that DVC typically “offers” a specific month for sale depending on the time of year to new members. So even though they have declared close to 50% it is not really an accurate indication of how much is sold. OF course informed buyers can get any month that is available but those than are aware of this is the minority.

In the simplest terms DVC does not sell out all use years of declared inventory before declaring more, so there is a lot of “straggler” contracts which do not match the seasonally needed UY that may wait till next year to get sold. I am sure that when the resort has been for sale for more than 1 year this starts to even out (like Kidani) plus for Kidani if they start to run short of a specific UY they can always buy some points through ROFR for that UY to avoid having to declare another block and not have them available to make money through CRO.
