More REAS ??

The REAS plan sounds interesting. I have a few questions that I haven't seen addressed here and hope someone has the answers. we're traveling with a group: 4 cabins total. If I book the REAS plan, and pick my dining rotation, will it cause a problem with my linked family ressies--in other works would my family get the same rotation if I asked for it under the REAS package. Also, can you get reservations for brunch and tea for 8 adults under this package, or would it have to be the 2 adults in the room?? Thanks for any assistance.

We chose PALPALP and had 3 other people from another cabin who's reservation was linked with us. Debbie was able to move them all as well.
The reservations for supper and brunch and tea were made and the other adults were permitted to be a part of our reservation also. I don't know if they have a limit but when you talk with Debbie or whomever does your reservations ask. 8 seems like a lot and I'm sure if everyone did this it would probably put an end or cause changes to the package as the numbers would be prohibitive for anyone else getting reservations on the ship.

Comments from Palo brunch include "so many empty tables!" - whether this is the norm or not, I certainly would ask the Palo Head Server early if it were possible to include 8 on your reservation.

Grumbo: I may just be that I'm touchy this morning, but your post appears to be saying that it is OK for you to use the program for 5, but for me to use the program for 8 is an abuse of the system that may result in the program being changed. I know that there are only 2 -3 large tables at Palo, because I have eaten at them twice. The times that I have eaten at Palo, at least one of these tables has stayed empty during the whole meal. I am not trying to get away with anything, just trying to see what can be done. Guess I should call my TA.

Nope not at all. Sorry if it read that way.
We had two rooms. Total of 4 adults.
I can see them eventually making the changes. I stated this before I even went on the cruise on this board that as more and more folks (myself included) take advantage of this they'll change/ammend this perk. Actually they don't have to really ammend it as Debbie said it was a "courtesy" and is NOT a part of the package per se.
Once again sorry if you felt I was referring to you personally as that was NOT my intent. I just figure once Disney sees how this impacts on the number of Palo openings taken they'll crack down on this.
