More questions about Wyndham Bonnet Creek

Our first stay at Wyndham Bonnet Creek is coming ujp so I have a few questions. Is there a parking fee at the resort? Also, do they really not allow strollers on the buses? And I wanted to know what they offer for food. We will be using our kitchen but just in case we wanted to grab a bite to eat by the pool, what do they have and what are prices like? Lastly I wanted to know how much bar drinks are such as a frozen drink.

Haven't been there yet but I can help with the first two questions - no parking fee and the consensus from the two "We love Bonnet Creek" threads is that the "no strollers" rule on the buses is rarely if ever enforced.

I saw on another site an answer to the stroller issue. Apparently, it is not "no strollers"; if your stroller can fold and be sufficiently out of the way, it's allowed. I would think nearly any stroller you might have would qualify.

That said, I really encourage folks to have a car, and to use it. The shuttle will work, but it is scheduled service, often with a mid-day gap, and shared-route (one bus to MK/EP, one to AK/DS). A car will be much more convenient, and the theme park parking fee more than worth it IMO.

We got a pina colada last week at the Escudos bar by building 4. It was $9 and not very good, so we made our own after that!

Hm.. I recall the drinks being better, and less expensive at Bonnet. Looks like they really *are* starting to replicate the Disney experience! ;)

We're planning our trip for two years out. I'd hate to have a rent a car under this circumstance:

Four of us will be driving down in a car that seats four comfortably. Five would be tight. Six would probably be impossible.

Two will probably be flying in from another part of the country. Meaning there would be six of us in a car that seats five at the most.

Would we really need a car that seats six? I'll drive to the store for food runs. As long as the restaurants aren't more than five to ten minutes away, we can make two trips.

Problems, problems.

We were there in Feb. There is no fee for parking. They give you a pass to put in your car window. The bus says no strollers but they did not enforce that. They do offer food but very limited. No real restaurants. Just quick food like chicken sandwich. Lots of places to each very close by. Downtown Disney a few minutes away. Bar drinks are priced as you would expect. It is a great place to stay, you will have lots of fun.
