I'm starting to get hooked on the Poly! As a kid, my dad's sinuses were affected by the plant-life, so we avoided it. :( Now that I'm all grown up... :hyper:

I haven't seen the Electric Water Pageant in 25 or 30 years, is it always at 9pm?

It looks like Hawaii or Samoa would be a good location to take advantage of the Pool and Beach. Can you request a location when making reservations?

I assume young and old alike would enjoy eating at Ohana, correct?

Any other thoughts for a family of 13? Thanks Tikiman for your excellent Poly Web Site!

Yes, unless Wishes is at 9. On those nights, the EWP begins as soon as Wishes ends.

Yes, you can make a request. You're right that both of those longhouses have great locations. These days however, Hawaii houses concierge room for which there is an extra charge.

Be sure to try the little launches to or from the MK as well as the monorail.

When you visit EPCOT, make the short walk to the TTC to catch the monorail. The Polynesian is the only resort that provides monorail transportation to two parks so easily.

Have fun at the Polynesian!:boat: :boat:

Do the MK Boats start running in time for Early Entry?

Goofy4, sorry but I don't know. We usually avoid early entrance days. If no one else pops in with an answer, you might try asking on the Transportation forum.

We have reservations for Cinderella's royal table at 8:00 am on an early morning MK day (Thursday) when we go in November. I was told by a CM at Disney that the monorail, buses etc. did not run early, but they do. I was told this by my friend who is also a Disneyphile. The CM tried to tell me that I would have to have a car to get there that early from the Poly. Hope this helps

Wow, that was incredibly bad advice from the CM! In fact, you can't drive or take a bus from the Polynesian to the MK!!! You can only take the monorail (resort monorail or the express from the TTC), the launches, or the ferry from the TTC! The resort monorail starts each day at 7am even on days that aren't early entry. But I don't know about the launches. On non early entry days I don't think they start running until around opening.
