More news on a Tink Meet-n-Greet

I was in the MK last week and had a great conversation with a CM when we were exiting HM. I was looking for the ring and he helped me out. He also walked me up to the cemetary and showed me the statue of Mr. Toad. I started talking him about other things and he asked if we were going to MNSSHP. I told him we had tix for 9/29 and what our costumes were. I told him that my DD2 was Tinkerbell and he said, "I have a secret about Tinkerbell".

He said he heard from a trusted source that they were turning the Sky Bucket landing in Fantasyland into a Meet-n-Greet with Tink.

I remember reading a thread before I left about Disney possibly introducing a meet w/ Tink where you are "shrunk" down to Tink's size.

I hope to read more about it soon! She is my daughter's favorite!

The Sky Bucket Landing is to the left of IASW. The base of it is Stroller Parking Central.

What exactly is the Sky bucket landing in Fantasyland. Where is it?

I think they are referring to the old station of the SKyway to Tomorrowland (it was alike a gondola that went across the whole park). Rumor has it that it closed due to people dropping things off the ride (i.e. pennies, spit) And of course there are always challenges to loading and unloading a ride like this (think ski lifts).

The structure that remains is just in back of and behind where they now have Fantasyland stroller parking, and periodically in the past, they've used the area in front of this building for character greets. It's a brown building, kind of looks like something from the Swiss Alps, there's also a water freature in the area. Curiously enough, this area also serves to disguise the fact that HM and IaSW are actually the same building (look closely).

We went to Tink Treasures and I thought maybe they would have a little light or something to represent Tink...but all we heard were chimes...so we figured that would be Tink...

um not they are not. there a space between them big enough to park to semi trucks.

My guess would be that they would open this up to coincide with Tink's new movie coming out next year. I wonder if they will do this like "Turtle Talk with Crush"?

I can picture how the audience can "shrink" to. When you're inside the building the walls are like green/blue screens for walls or they can use the elevator trick in the HM.
