How long do movies usually play on the ship?
My DD wants to see Holes and would like to know if it could be playing on our June 15th crusie.
Do you pay for your snacks at the movies?
Can you bring our own snacks?

On the ship by the Walt Disney Theater there is a stand with soda, candy, and food. When you get to your room on the first day there will probably be a schedule of times of what movies are playing at what time. I really don't know if you can bring your own snacks in the theater. When we went on the cruise though we bought some soda for in the little fridge we had! I just saw Holes a week ago about. It was a great movie to watch, it didn't bore me at all. :earseek:

Disney movies play for quite a while on the ship. If Disney releases a lot of new movies they will have to bump out other movies though. I'm sure Holes will still be playing in June.

I've seen people bring in room service trays for the movies. To each, his/her own!!!

If I remember correctly, the snacks are not free

Also, the snacks are outside of the Walt Disney Theater, which is not the same theater that the movies are played in. Also, they are only out there at certain times (before the early and late theatrical shows).

I do not remember any snacks outside of the movie theater.

BD - ohhh, Mr. Obvious! They bring in the tray to whack the talkers! SHEESH! I thought everybody knew that!

Ok, they do play 1 first run movie in the Walt Disney Theater during 7 day cruises, and there is a good sized snack stand there with goodies for sale. I recommend the Pooh's Hunny Pots. :teeth:

The Buena Vista Theater, on the other hand which handles the bulk of the movies shown, has no food sources at all by it, you definitely need to bring your own from somewhere to see movies there.

Holes, I am sure will be showing in one of the two theatres.

Snacks are at both theaters - the movie theater has a push cart vendor (Deck 5 AFT) BUT only for the evening show. The stage theater has concession stands at the doors, often only one is utilized.

Oh. That would explain why I've never seen it Rae, don't think I've been to an evening show in the BV theatre yet; too much to do on the ship! :p

They really need a permanent concession of some kind there.

And I thought the left stand at the WD theater entrance is a bar?

MarkRG - it's a bar?! We never get anything at the concession stands there so I never noticed!! Well, blow me down!!!!

We stay on Deck 5 Aft, that's why I know about the side cart vendor!!!!

I know there is soooo very much on the ship to do and see that regardless of how many trips you take, there's always something new - even for Barb and Tony who got to swim in the Crew Pool once!!!! Now that's unique!

Rae

Yep, it is. How do I know? Not by your usual reason.

During Sailaway, they have these strawberry smoothies(non alcoholic) that they serve in these nice souvenir glasses. Well, dw and I both get one and save the glasses. Get back to the cabin, wash them out real good and find one has a crack! :( Well, we go down to the WD theatre for the show and stop at the bar on the left and buy a pop in another glass to replace the broken one.
