This is our first time attending MNSSHP and I have just a few questions for those who have already attended this year.

1) Where is the best place for family photo (are you really entitled to the number of tickets you purchased)?

2) Where is the Boo to you parade? Where do kids line up to participate?

3) How are the crowds? Are they more managable than MK during the day?

Thanks for any tips for making it a magical night!

Maybe I can give input on both of your post questions I noticed.
We just got back today. Left the MK at 1pm and the weather this past week was unusually nice. Not hot or humid. Yesterday was the 1st time I have ever been in Animal Kingdom and been comfortable. I hope that your luck is as good as ours.
We went to the MNSSHP on Thursday night and the crowd was not very bad at all. Several spots around the park to have your picture taken. The only real heavy lines seems to be around the free candy. ( I've always felt I can get candy pretty cheap at the store so I'm not spending my evening waiting in line for $4.47 worth of candy?) The fireworks for the party were awesome as always. Not real sure about the boo to you parade though? And we have never had any problem getting at least 2-3 copies sent to us. I guess you could visit each picture spot and have that photo sent to you.
I'm sure you'll have great fun.

Was there Oct. 5 and am copying this info from the brochure.

#1 advice: Bug spray AND itch stuff in case they bite you anyway!!!!!!!

The Boo-to-You parade is the Disney parade from Mainstreet to Frontierland on the usual route. It happens at 8 and 10 p.m.

"Mickey's Mouse-Ka-Rade Costume Parties" for the kids are held in Fantasyland (in front of Ariel's Grotto) and in Tomorrowland (between Astro Orbiter and Space Mt.) They are at 7:15, 8:30, 9:45, and 10:30. I guess that's the times for the "judging" that I saw going on once. The rest of the time they have DJs playing music, hula-hooping contests, and other stuff. Looked like the little ones had a good time dancing.

There are "scary" and "not so scary" storytelling stations located throughout the park.

Special fireworks at 9:15. Look for a special guest to fly instead of Tink (and it's not at the beginning either). It comes later.

16 Trick or Treating Stations denoted by large "balloons".

Halloween Riverboat Ride with stories, characters, and candy.
Read a post where this was a dud. We didn't do it. Mosquitos were AWFUL along the river.

Cindy's Surprise Celebration (castle forecourt show) at 7:15, 8:50, and 11.

Goofy's Country Dancin' Jamboree at 7:15, 8:50, and 9:40.
We didn't go this night, nor during the week. My DD9 wouldn't have participated anyway.

Hope you have fun!

Be there anytime after 4:30 and they'll let you in on just the party admission. From 6-7, you'll be contained in Tomorrowland and Toontown. You can get some rides out of the way early. We did Buzz twice and Speedway twice as soon as we got there about 5:30 and they sent us there.

Stations in every land. We did ours in Hall of Pres. A friend did hers in Small World. The CMs told us to fill out this form and I did...just one for our family. They made one digital shot. We had 3 copies of it waiting for us at home when we got back. They are 4x6" size. I read posters who filled out multiple forms - one in each different family member's name - and got one photo of each pose. I understand that if you fill out multiple forms, say one for each different "grouping", you'll get one copy of each. Some get the whole family, just DH and DW, just kids, etc.

I thought the crowd was very manageable...almost empty in places.
