Lots of LTM next week! This is from the Disney Parks blog:

As a part of “Limited Time Magic,” all 10 Disney Princesses will come together on May 11 in honor of their newest member, Merida, the heroine from Disney•Pixar’s film “Brave,” as the 11th Disney Princess character. The celebration begins at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom Park.
At the park, you’ll also be able to commemorate the occasion with a limited edition Merida-inspired T-shirt created for toddlers and youth, available at the Emporium inside Magic Kingdom Park while supplies last.

There are going to be several disappointed adults out there. :rotfl:

I don't really want to drive to WDW 2 weekends husbandless, but we are Star Wars fans & Merida fans, so I guess it has to be done.... ;)

no fair! this is the first limited time magic that sounds semi good and it is about 3 weeks too early! guess they are saving the good stuff for summer...maybe extra melty mickey head week?:rotfl2:

And, the Three Caballeros will still be in Epcot/Mexico until the 11th!

Just an FYI, apparently the 10 princesses together and Merida's "ceremony" will not be able to be viewed by the public, just for press. THe only thing this is really doing is offering you a opportunity to buy a shirt. Hope this isn't the case but that is REALLY what it sounds like.

Seriously? If this is true, I think we have a front runner for the lamest LTM yet.

Why on earth would they have a press event for something the public will never see? Come to WDW and see our 11 princesses holding court together.... Oh wait! We were just kidding.

Very sad.

I saw a video of Rapunzels ceremony which took place at Kensington Palace in London. They had a procession of the princesses in carriages but it appeared as if the general public could not view the crowning ceremony - so sadly this may be correct. Not worth changing my plans for unless I hear otherwise I think.

I'm so excited I have the opportunity to buy my two little boys princess shirts! :rotfl2: I think I would have been happier with soup! ;) :rotfl:

I was almost in tears excited that we were going to be there for the event, and now crushed. How silly that there is ltm that u cannot go to..what in the world?! Oh well back to original plans I guess.

What makes you think this? From what I am reading they are advertising the ceremony as being in front of the Castle at 9:30 AM on a Saturday which is prime tourist park time. Typically press events are kept away from the tourists and not even really announced in such a fashion.

I agree! Where did you see anything that said the public would not be able to see this????? Please give us your source.

Yes, the "public" as in all the people in Orlando who DON'T have park tickets will not be able to see it, but I don't see any reason why the people at MK would not be able to.

If you were planning on going, I wouldn't change your plans because of a rumor!

previous poster was incorrect there is nothing that says we will not be able to see the princess: coronation quite the contrary:
