I have been reading the Brits Guide and planning our visit for the summer, I note that there is a water park next to Busch Gardens. Can anyone give me more info please and whether we will have to buy a separate ticket for this park, or is it part of the Busch Gardens ticket? Thanks.

Hi Beth l have only been there once but pretty certain that its not linked to BG.

Adventure Island is BG's sister water park - right next door to BG -
and is great. We visited it a couple of times and really love it, it's IMO on a par with Typhoon Lagoon, but actually has more 'rides' (inner tubes etc). The lazy river there is just as good as TL's.

It really is worth a visit if you're down that way.

If you need any more info, look on BG's website, I'm sure there will be info on it.

 Forgot to say you can get tickets which combine the two parks (Busch Gardens and Adventure Island). On our last visit it was cheaper to buy one of these combination tickets because you got re-entry to either park free for 10 days:sunny: (and it worked out cheaper than buying two separate tickets).

Never knew that there was a water park here until recently. Looks like it may be on our plans for next year though!!
Here is a map for the park to help you. It also gives a link for buying tickets.
Claire ;)
