Hi guys

I need your help again I posted before about relocating to Orlando
We are planning on moving to the Orlando area or the surrounding areas but I need your help
I have been trying to come up with a list of communites that I can look at on are up coming trip but I am having no luck
I have looked online but then read the reviews and negative negative negative :confused3

We want to rent first then slowly look for are home

So this is what we are looking for 3 -4 bedroom apt in a nice area and good schools
Our range is maybe around 900-1100 or alittle bit more if its worth it
I hoping that i can get some help with from my friends :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

I would suggest either the Hunters Creek area or the Clermont area. Don't know about rent prices though. Most of the "cheaper" places have problems that you don't want to live in anyways. Sometimes you can even rent a house for the price of an apartment. Check the Orlando Sentinel online classifieds.

My parents rented for a year and bought their home in St. Cloud last summer. They really like the area.

If Orlando is anything like Atlanta, you may also want to factor in your commute. The closer to work, the better.

thank you so much

Also its there any gated communities that I should look into while I am down there.
I got a couple of locations but again when I look into it they say no to rent there
Yes I hear that Hunter Creek/ Clermont/ are good areas

With the amount of growth in the real estate down here (new condos/houses & apt to condo conversions) finding a 3-4 BR for that price in a good area with good schools is going to be tricky, as most apartments have begun to drastically raise their rates. In MetroWest, which is a nice area with good schools in SW orange county, a 2/2 is going for about 1100.

If you go here, you'll be able to check out the grades of the schools in the areas that you're looking at.

If you have another other questions, i'd love to help! :flower:

I have lived in the Orlando Area for 2 1/2 years now and love it. I live Northeast of Downtown Orlando, about 30 miles from Disney (door to door less than 1 hr) -there are a couple communities out here with excellent schools.
Waterford Lakes, Eastwood and Avalon Park. Avalon Park is a newer community (within the past 5 years I would say). There is all types of housing. In the Wateford Lakes area there is great shopping too. I can pretty much get whatever I need within a 3 mile radius!!!

Good luck.

I've heard good things about Hunters Creek. We drove through it and it looked very nice. The homes are a bit older and more reasonably priced. We ended up buying in Celebration. Good luck to you!

thank you guys

I have been looking into all the areas that have been posted
I came across a new set of apartments that will be opening up this Nov
called Mill Creek its located on Command Dr in Orlando Just wondering if anyone has driven past and noticed anything
I tried to call but no answer yet so I left a message

Just wondering

I would also recommend Hunters Creek. We lived there for a year (rented). I wold not recommend Clermont, but we know people that live there and like it - it isn't for us.

I would also recommend Lake Mary and Heathrow. - We currently live in Lake Mary.

It really depends on where you will be working. We needed to get away from the touristy areas and moved north and subsequently our car insurance went down $60 per month!
