more gift basket questions?

I want to do gift basket things for a couple I know going to Jamaica.

So far I have a photo album with palm trees, an underwater camera, and a Maraca pen.

My question is: Are maraca's and such considered stricly a Hawaiian thing or do you think they go fro anything tropical?

What else would you think of to put in a gift basket? Ideas?

How about sunscreen, a pair of sunglasses for each of them, maybe a couple of beach towels - you can roll them tightly to fit in the basket. I don't know how large the basket is. Sounds like a fun gift to make, they are a lucky couple to have a friend like you.

I think a good set of maracas work for anything Caribbean....I know pretty much any Caribbean port I've been to I've seen them
