I know I got lost once and Mary Poppins found me and took me to an building with a play room and cartoons (Chip 'n' Dale even came by to cheer me up) until my parents picked me up. Does Disney Magic Kingdom have a child lost and found? I have a four year who has a tendency to wander so I want to have a plan.

I have found that travelocity has great rates, and expedia will meet the price and give you a $50 coupon to use later. So, look at both. However, you might try a site like www.getawaytoday.com if you are in need of park tickets as well. Sometimes its cheaper to book a package. Getaway today prices include taxes and resort fees.

Not sure. I dont have a Disney visa. But, I believe you can use them there. About 95% sure.

March.

4. How far in advance should I book the hotel?

As early as possible, especially if you are looking at staying onsite. I booked last April for an Oct. trip. My choices for onsite hotels were already limited.

5. What months does the electric parade run?

Typically in the peak summer season. I have not heard when and if it will be coming back. It ran for 2 weeks at Christmas time.

No, I have not lost either of them in the park. But there is a place they take lost children. I've seen pictures of it, I believe at www.mouseplanet.com . Any cast member can help them if they are lost. Be sure to put your name and contact info somewhere on your child. In their shoe, in a lanyard around their neck, etc. Carry a cell phone so the cast member can call you!

I got Carousel for 60/nt last sept. this year I am getting 84/nt for BWPPI on best western's site. expedia has Park vue for 62/nt (avg) for this year nov too.

From what I've read you accumulate points and once you've accumulated enough points you can request a 'rewards' card which i think acts like a gift card. The rewards card can be recharged with more "points" (I think in $20 or $40 increments). the card can be used in disney parks for sure (except the food carts I believe) and at the world of disney & marcelines (sp?) in downtown disney. i am not sure about the hotels but I think disney owned and operated stores/restaurants that accept CC would most likely accept you rewards card (so hotel restaurants prob accept them). the rewards card does have en expiration date though. I haven't accumulated enough points (I mainly use my airlines mileage card) to qualify for the rewards card. Other have and I am sure they'll chime in to explain better/more.

I worried about this too. I ordered the dog tag things they personalize for dogs and just put our cell numbers on it. I then laced it through her shoelaces or velcro (we took 2 pairs of shoes so I got 2 tags). It was obvious enough to catch someone's attention but small enough to keep my phone number hidden (luckily we didn't lose her).

I think we are going to change our vacation date to April, the weather seems better and the kids are still in school, (except for spring break of course).

You may want to rethink the idea of moving it to April unless it is at the end of the month. April will be busy throughout spring break and March is much less crowded. The weather has been very unpredictible this year, it may be nicer in March than April IMHO.

1- For the best deal I have found going to the actual website. You can generally get $5-10 cheaper than from Expedia or others. Plus there is no surcharge. If you do find a cheaper rate on these I have called the hotel direct and they have honored their price.

6- I know that last April the Electrical parade was going on the weekends. If you check Disneyland's website when DCA is opened later it would be your first sign.

We would go April 23-27. I've checked on spring break and it's April 2-13, so I think we'll be safe. With children you really don't want to spend an hour in line for one ride. What do you all think about this time frame?

Keep in mind that the kids fly free/ play free special, the hotel 4 night/ $150 gift card, and the S CA 2fer ALL end on April 27. The days leading up to that are going to be busy. And, I wouldnt count on spring break being April 2-13 (13 is a Thursday, so I'm not sure why that would be the end?). They vary depending on state, district, etc, so it might be where you are, but not everywhere.
