DH is working for a local home improvement company. He is doing well and our checkbook is looking better every week after our recent issues.
The difference is that he is home a LOT more. Working for a company takes a lot less time than running one! I will come home from work some days at 3:30 and here he is, with his leads done for the day! Or he won't leave until noon so he has been cleaning the house! He throws stuff out too--I haven't missed anything YET, but I worry about it. He works a lot here because everyone in his new office smokes and he can't stand it--at his own company he had the office non-smoking. The owner loves him because he's doubled business in the last 2 months. He always said he could make more just selling than running the place.
That helps me in that he can help drive the 3 kids hither and yon, he's around for concerts and conferences without being late, the day DS was sick he kept him home and took him to the doctor, but he expects me when I'm home from school to be cooking, cleaning, helping with homework, not sitting on the computer! (not that I spent EVERY minute on the computer, mind you).
So I'm cooking more
and spending more quality time with everyone 
and less time here on the DIS. I guess that's a good thing? Right now DH is helping DS collect for "scouting for food", DD#2 is at a sleepover and DD#1 is asleep so I'm checking in. I guess I'll have to lurk more and talk less--which I'm sure some people will appreciate!
