I have a rental booked for next week. Will registering for QS really save me time? I am using a coupon. I have read different posts on this subject but I am very confused!! :confused3 I feel a little dishonest saying that I am a business when I am not. Do they ever question this? Also, how do I find out how much an additional driver would cost?
Thanks!!

From all the multiple posts on this topics in the last month the overwhelming response was that it should save you time to register with QS and bypass the counter with the regular line. This is especially true for busy times, mid-morning to late afternoon. If you check your reservation online (modify) it should be able to tell you the price of an additional driver. If not, call and ask.

We joined a week prior, there was 15 people in the regular line, we were first in line at QS, 5 minutes to the car

Additional drivers are $8/day...if you book through a Costco membership, it's "free".

We arrived Sun Feb 5, waited 15 minutes in a looonng line (that we thought was going to take an hour or more) but moved surprisingly fast.

On my booking it says additional drivers are included.
Did the rules change ?

Hooray for Costco! I wonder if that is just for a spouse?

I will be using Alamo this year a couple of times, if National rates stay high.

I signed my husband up for Quick Silver about two weeks ago. Still haven't received any forms in the mail to fill out. I thought we were supposed to? Anybody know how long it takes to get them? I keep hoping I didn't accidentally throw it away thinking it was junk mail.

Call and double check...our confirmation said add'l driver free, as well...except when I called to do the pre-pay thing, our ressie got all messed up...(which was my fault..long story, good outcome;) )

So just to be sure, double check (and maybe if you're a *********** member, it's included as well) if it's not listed as a paid item..you might get an unpleasant surprise at the counter...

Good luck!
