Who do you think will be the next celebrity to pass away?

I know that is aweful, but it is something I am curious about.

LOL Silky, soes Saddam qualify as a 'celebrity?'

I have no clue who will be next, if I did, I'd be rich!

I don't know if he qualifies as a "celebrity", but how many people do YOU know who have a $25,000,000 price on their head??? Of course, I don't think that he's going to make the cover of People magazine anytime soon :D..........

LOL, damo!

No idea. Red Buttons? I hope not

Morbid perhaps, but I do keep up on which celebs are ailing or elderly, as I collect autographs via mail and it's always good to know who's capable of signing. I'm sad to say it, but I'm thinking it might be Kitty Carlisle-Hart. Most well-known for her appearances on "To Tell the Truth". She's quite old now. Others that I have on my list are: Dabbs Greer (Rev. Alden from Little House) and Sherwood Schwartz (creator of Brady Bunch and Gilligan's Island).

Jerry Lewis hasn't been doing very good lately either.:(

Sad, but true... they die in 3's you know...

Reagan
or
Luther Vandross - he hasn't been doing well since his stroke.

I'd hate to guess and then be right. Now that would be morbid!

If you know who will die next you could be plotting their demise?

In my area we have a radio talk show host who has a death poll. He asks listeners who will be the next person "who won't be down to breakfast". They keep a list and then when a celeb dies the person who had him in the poll wins a tee shirt. It is kind of micarbre but it is also kind of funny when you listen. Bob Hope was a perenial favorite. The person who picked him must have done it 10 years ago. With Kathrine Hepburn gone, too I am guessing Reagan will bump to the top of the list.

I posted this question this morning when I learned about Bob Hopes' passing and discovered that the lead guitarist for the group Iron Butterfly (In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida) died on Friday. You gotta wonder who #3 will be.

Right you are Towncrier;

Erik Braunn, the lead guitarist on Iron Butterfly's 1968 classic rock anthem "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida," died of cardiac arrest Friday (July 25) in Los Angeles. He was 52. Erik was 16 when he joined Iron Butterfly, and spent only two years with the rock band-- from 1967 to 1969, the two years of the group's greatest success. He later admitted he had not been prepared for the frenetic pace of working 365 days a year. "My first vacation I bought a car-- a Jaguar-- and parked it outside the hospital where I spent two weeks for ulcers and gastroenteritis." Braunn worked as a songwriter, musician and producer until his death, occasionally reuniting with his fellow members of Iron Butterfly.

Is this something we're putting money on? I hope not.

It's always a sad thing when anyone (well, not Saddam) passes away. It does seem so many greats from the golden age entertainment are dying off recently.

Bob Hope will be missed. 100 years was not enough, but he more than paid his dues.

I hope people aren't betting on this! Sometimes I just wonder about things and I feel comfortable here on the dis asking these questions. Thats all.

Bella da ball - are you from MN? There is a morning show here that has the "dead pool". For some reason, Debbie Reynolds popped in my head when I read the question. I don't think she is sick or anything, but that was the first name I thought of...

The Red Sox playoff chances. According to history it should happen in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
