I have a retail outlet on a busy main road and it is now the norm to see bicycles being ridden on the pavement but incredibly I have just seen a moped go past my shop being driven on the pavement! The police don't take any notice of cyclists riding on pavements in this area and probably wouldn't if they saw this incident but this is now getting out of hand and someone is going to get seriously injured or killed if this is not stamped out soon.

Bizarrely as I was reading this one of the local 'Chav' gangs has started riding around the field behind our house on a Moto Cross bike. Most Annoying

Fortunately it's npt as dangerous to the general public as a moped being driven on the pavement which is just plain ignorant!

We get this in the park at the ned of our road and it drives me mad as it means I cant let my dog off his lead to play. I wish the police would do something to stop it!

In this area the police do absolutely nothing about pavement cyclists. They don't even shout at them to stop. I suppose it's too much trouble for them. I'm close to a walk-through precinct and it's open season there for cyclists, it reminds me of those pictures you see of hundreds of Chinese on their bicycles!

I agree, its got to the stage where I can't walk along the pavement to school with my two DDs side by side, when we are three abreast we jut into the cycle lane (grrrr) and get shouted at by cyclists. There is one particular woman who really annoys me as we walk up a very long hill to go to school. There is no cycle lane marked on the pavement or the road, but as the traffic in this road is only school traffic, she could easily ride safely on the road, but no...she zooms down the hill on the pavement and doesn't even slow down as she passes us. I am sooooo tempted to stick my leg out one day, trouble is I would probably end up getting it mangled by her bike!!! :rotfl2:
