1. Right, we pretty much do nothing all day. and only work 1 day a week. y'all need career changes. be babynurses. it's great. I worked last night, and we sat around talking about WDW, cute boys, gave each other manicures, gossiped about the student nurses, ate bon bons, and flirted with the MYRIAD of hotT doctors.

we ultimately decided since 1/2 of our patients are newborn and incapable of reporting us for substandard care, we can really just let them fend for themselves and noone will know the difference. As long as we keep the moms happy with cokes, doritos, and turkey sandwiches (I swear I play waitress as much as I play nurse) that we can pretty much coast through the shift with minimal effort.

1. WHAT?!? you bring the moms doritos and turkey sandwiches?!? That is it! I am calling to complain about my quality of care. I have yet to have a nurse bring me anything to eat other than an ice chip. My last recovery nurse was stingy with the advil too. However there was this one angel of light.. a nurse or maybe a tech or maybe a janitor lady.... I don't know who she was only that she brought me my own can of coca-cola... full of sugar and caffiene after a long caffiene free, soda free pregnancy. I loved her. I would have named a baby after her. But I was only in that room about 30 minutes before they moved me into another room.

1a. Myriad of hotT doctors? they come in myriads now? I get confused. I thought it was a pride. Or a gaggle.

.but I was a hungry hungry hippo.....oh wait I am a pig.....keep forgetting....

Marita- !!!! I know what you mean! (not really) Back in the day when I had a job I always hated it when some lowly intern confused the TE with the TBE which gave me a false NR with my RT-PCR.

Just got back from the ballgame. We won again 12-5 . Nicholas got another home run.

We went to the Dairy Queen after and had blizzards. Mine was a Skor one this time. Now I am really cold..brrr. But it was so good.

I am in a really small Red Hat group. It's my friends I was in Camp Fire Girls with and went to Disney with in January, so I'm sure they'd love to have another Disney lover But you have a LONG ways to go to be official

Thanks, Pumba! I'm sure it will be fun at my sister's. She has a great house for partying with a huge deck and we have a gorgeous day today - 70 degrees right now with 43% humidity!!!

My nephew turned 21 earlier this month. We hardly ever get to see him (too busy with his girlfriend, working out, etc.), so that will be a treat!

Your last post cracked me up! My little sister gave my DD some pointers on how to get her puppy to "go" on command and it seems to be working.

Speaking of my DD (she is only 24, Cel, LOL) - she sent me a check for WAY too much money for my birthday. Now I have to figure out how to funnel it back to her She always picks out the best cards too
