What a chatty and entertaining day on the Moovers thread!

You all were on a roll!

As for our good friend BDG, I am guessing his daytime posting frenzy is due to one of these:

A) Lack of thugs to defend (which is not goog for income), but not very likely due to the current economic crises

B) Losing his job as a parking lot attendant (very likely due the current economic crises)

C) Starting vacation early, as lawyers are (want, wond, wont?), ok, known to do

I would post a poll, but I am too lazy.

Cel, EEEK and even ACK on your schedule! Hope you make it through in one piece.

Mony, HI!!!!!!!! Happy you are having a good time.

I looked at my calendar for tomorrow tonight, and the xmas lunch is from 10-12. HUH? They just reused the scheduled time that was for a staff meeting and made it for lunch. But lunch at 10??? I dont usually even make it to the office til 10:30, plus I have to get a pie first

But I did buy my White Elephant gift today for the party, a $10 Hess gift card. There is nobody that can't use $10 worth of gas, right? RIGHT! ($10 is the limit for the exchange)

I buried it deep in tissues in a used gift bag. Disney is shoving "Green Standards" at us left and right. Not that that is bad, I support it.
Speaking of recycling, my day is Thursday. Which means they won't come on Xmas day. I have a bin full in a regular week, but with the party and all the extra bottles and cans, it will be very ugly.... Like 3 or 4 weeks' worth for the following week. Oh wait!!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The next week is New Years day, so they wont come then either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :scared1:

Oh, speaking of going green, we got our annual holiday gift from Disney. The most cheesy little windchime with a little cowbell attached and a green "Celebrate" hanger and some beads attached to some wires. Worst thing evah! But the card attached said it's made from all recycled materials  Not that I mind it all that much, but I heard there are a lot of complaints from the rank and file...

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

I just had this fabulous idea for a christmast list item for me.
Someone to go watch Twillight with me after Xmas. I'm even paying for everything. This went to my kids and DH. (Email, that is)

Does that make me a sugar mama?:confused3

I've been scarce tonight because we spent all evening working on switching out the old TV cabinet with the new one (for which I had to stay home from work half a day to have it delivered). Hubby is still hooking up the Tivos, etc. so the TV's probably not coming out of the box until tomorrow. There was about a half inch of dust back behind the old cabinet and under the old TV because it was all too heavy and complex (wiring-wise) to move :scared: LOTS of vacuuming and dusting at my house tonight.

Twink - The snow globe graphic is on the bottom of the Photopass page once youve signed in. I don't think there's any way to capture the image except for on-line, though :confused3

bbn - You sure were on a ROLL today :lmao: Very cute math problem ;)

Hell and Ho, Ho, Ho, B! Slow time at work, eh?

Cel - Yikes on your schedule! It made me tired just reading it. But it sounds like you have some fun stuff mixed in there.

Nabbie - That sounds to me like a ply by Nicholas to hoard some Christmas cookies for himself!!!

I talked with Mony tonight after seeing her post earlier this evening. She said that Tim was sick last night but he seems to be the only one that picked up the bug. She didn't think it was food poisoning. I called to make sure she knows about the forecasted snow storm tomorrow. Hope they don't have a problem traveling home. Fingers crossed!

Marita - I hope you can entice one of your kids to join you for Twilight! I think my DD has already seen it. I just finished the book today and I have to wait for Mari to bring the rest of the books for me next week :goodvibes

Since I know you all are DYING to know, here's my crazy schedule for the next few days:

I'm excited!
You are going to Memphis?????????? Don't forget my games for the kids.

Do you still own the Bonnet Creek Fiasco, I mean timeshare?

BDG
Yep. Wanna rent some nights? I was going to stay at the Wyndham across from Opryland this weekend, but they don't have any openings until Christmas eve and we have to have the kids back by then.
I'm not ignoring you! I :lovestruc you too much for that.

I just had this fabulous idea for a christmast list item for me.
Someone to go watch Twillight with me after Xmas. I'm even paying for everything. This went to my kids and DH. (Email, that is)

I think that's a great idea for a gift for you! Hopefully one of them will agree to it.

You are going to Memphis?????????? Don't forget my games for the kids.

Tee hee. Again I'm amused because I tell my mother stuff through an imaginary disney board.
Yes, we're going Sunday. I'm planning on dropping Riley off at your house Sunday afternoon. Can I pick him up at aunt pam's on Christmas eve?

I'll remember the games!
And I have to remember to get a picture of Camden for you. and your mini marshmellows.
and my hundred bucks. Have daddy go to the bank today so you can pay me tomorrow at uncle johnny's.

Celery - If someone was interested in renting nights from you, how much would it cost? Hypothetically...

I HAVE to go to the store today. You would probably ship out a box of food for my poor children if you saw my fridge. lol. I need to hurry before it gets too warm outside.

We have an official snow day today. It hasn't started here yet but is suppose to hit us at around 10:00 :confused3 I am still sending my kids to school since we walk but all buses are canceled. Suppose to be a huge snow storm with big winds later on and we are in the path of it.

The kids are excited to go because for they won't do anything but play with the kids that do show up and they have to given the teacher their gift yet. I am guessing out of 700 kids there will be 100 kids total there. Maybe less since it is the last day. Maybe I will pick them up at noon.

Marita-- our recycle is the same as yours. It will be over flowing from paper and cardboard though from presents. Maybe you should take a snow day today. Did you see Las Vegas got snow yesterday!! They haven't seen any in 30 years.

I think Mony is going to get stuck at the airport because the storm is heading in Moo's direction too I think!

You should have emailed PJ. She'll be in Disney and she loves Twilight. Y'all can be bff's!

bbn - You sure were on a ROLL today :lmao: Very cute math problem ;)

Math isn't really that cute, unless we are talking about Twinkie math and then it's freakin' adorable.

But yes, I was on a roll. Almost loopy. Purt near giddy. Must be all the candy canes going to my head.

For some reason I just thought of that scene in "Elf" when Buddy hears that Santa is coming to the dept store and he starts screaming "SANTA IS COMING!!!"" That movie cracks me up.

You are going to Memphis?????????? Don't forget my games for the kids.

hi celmama:)

Tee hee. Again I'm amused because I tell my mother stuff through an imaginary disney board.

lol. That is funny. You need an imaginary secretary to take imaginary notes and pm your imaginary itinerary.

I HAVE to go to the store today. You would probably ship out a box of food for my poor children if you saw my fridge.

I'll ship out juice boxes and handisnacks if you want.:upsidedow

that would suck. Hi Nab, my idol.;)

Was that supposed to be Santa Claus????:santa:

my bad. it was a FANTABULOUS Santa-esque "ho, ho, ho". :flower3:

TwinkadinkSittingOnASinkSippingADrinkSingingAlongWithPink:  thought for the day: If YOU are SHE and I am YOU. What is HE? Are WE She, He, You? that makes sense cuz the first three letters spell shy. and HE is shy around girls. which WE are. keep up people. this is a freakin genius post in the making.

For a one bedroom, 100 per night. 2 bedroom - I dunno - 150 or so? plus a fee of 50 to cover the "guest confirmation" fee. The two bedroom sleeps 8, so would accomadate your one BILLION kids!

3. errr. STEP AWAY FROM THE CANDY CANES!

Christmas has officially started!
woo hoo! :dance3:
I'm leaving work now and driving the one million (7) hours to the breadman's house.
:dance3: :cheer2: :cool2:  :woohoo: :yay:

morning my peeps .

The egg lady has come and delivered only four dozen eggs.....A coyote has been hanging around and got a few this week.....last night the poor lady had to get up and shoosh the critter back into the woods.......taht gave me the heebie jeebies...the eggs she has are fresh adn right out of the .........well you get the drift......fresh.....I love the taste of free range chickens eggs....delicious......she lost two of the Easter egg chickens to the coyotes........those shells are blue and so pretty......

I guess I should get busy and either get into some Christmas spirit or just lounge around in my housecoat today....WE ALL DID SLEEP LAST NIGHT.....maybe we will put the tree up on Sunday......Megara loves decorations so we are careful what we do ....just little mini lights all over the tree and red bows......no balls or tinsel or garland.....our house is safe for all birds and doggies......we used to raise cockateils and we couldnt have garland or tinsel cause their wings would get caught......then we couldnt have tinsel when we got our first dalmatian Jasmine.....cause she would eat a strand or two and then we could pick up her thingies outdoors and we called it .....oh never mind....you will think my house is a home with alot of you know whats...kids and animals .......that is all they do......HONEST>

guess I will get busy......see you all later .

YES. My carpets are pristine. I have vacummed every day this week. However don't worry, my fake hardwoods are cluttered with the debris of the school day and need to be swiffered because of all the salt and sand and snow tracked in. Be thankful you don't have snow. Do you know how long it takes to coat, hat, mitten and boot small children before strapping them into the car seat? and how much they hate it? However, I am thankful not to be sweating. Good luck with that August baby. Heh.
I vacuum and vacuum but can't keep up with the grime that is my daily toil. "They" should invent disposable snow boots or children who avoid snowbanks.

Yes, I know the bundling drill. Never fails that someone either suddenly smells poopy (hopefully an infant) or has to urgently use the potty (Preschooler or me) :goodvibes

August babies are easy in the sense that all you need are onsies (for the baby, not mama :rolleyes1 )

BbN- I have to purchase carbs AND coke products??? OY! You are a demanding pet!

I am sure it will all be worth it in the end. I joke that we need to keep mooving every 3ish years just to prevent the massive dust buildup of what you speak.

You are going to Memphis?????????? Don't forget my games for the kids.
:lmao: And don't forget to take the kids to "that dead guy's house".....:rotfl:

Now you are just trying to be mean. Funny thing though, I did consider shipping you some prenatal vitamins but then I noticed they were expired. :upsidedow

I wish I could send my kids on to school. Heh. Actually it was really nice not to have to meet the bus at 8 am. We live in a cul de sac and I am not comfortable with the first graders walking down to the bus stop by themselves so I have to take the whole crew. In the snow. Uphill.

1. True. And. Thank. You.
2. Pace yourself sistah. Christmas is still days away.
3. :rotfl: One of my daughters LOVEs that movie too. She also really really likes Dodgeball. What kind of slacker parents let their kids see these kinds of movies. Really?
4. This is the truth. I almost posted the SAME thing last night. Sometimes I am not sure which one of us is typing. But good question. Who is HE?

uh, Pot, this is Kettle.....

Or Evermatching Mittens. Or Snow boots and pants that grow with your child. Freakin' genius I tell ya.

Saaaay, here is an interesting South Dakota history. (actually, it may be urban, I mean rural, myth) While South Dakota is NOT in Canada as SHE suggested, it would have been the 7th most powerful nation in the world had it chosen to secede from the Union prior to Glaznost. There, ya learn something every day.

BDG

I haven't seen anything so nonsensical, since, since, since the last time I saw the nonsensical stringing together of the letters A, C and K.

actually, I checked it out on snopes and there was no word on your allegations BUT didja know that a congressional medal of honor in the hands of a war hero from South Dakota is considered a weapon by the airline safety peeps?

Last edited by TwinkieMama : Today at 08:21 AM. Reason: but is HE east river or west river? or west side story?

Definitely, DEFINITELY - East River. Without question. I'm a city dude. Duh.

ME? Demanding? nevah. I'm a pet? Do I have to sleep outside? with the dogs? Do I at least get to ride on the back of the 4 wheeler?

LOKL.

I'm just going to throw this out there.

It is 60 degrees and sunny.

wow what a great afternoon to be alive.

So it's definite then?

You know that dreaded piece of paper you get at the end of your stay? I received an even worse piece of paper today. TSA has chosen us to forgo Magical Express airline check in and luggage delivery to MCO....

We have been RANDOMLY chosen to be subjected to their inspections and have to handle ALL of or own luggage along with my small kids and mother.

Please pray for me, my neighbor has already informed me that there was 6 inches of snow at 8am and it's supposed to fall most of the day.

So far our flight is still on schedule.

Twinkie - THank you for reminding me to pick up some prenatal vitamins a day late and a dollar short.

Mony
- Of course you were chosen you fit all the terrorist criteria. You are white, you are traveling with a buttload of little kids and elderly and you just spent a week at Walt Disney World.

Walmart was the worst experience EVER!

Mony - A!C!K! When I took Magical Express to the airport, I couldn't believe how many people were carrying their own luggage. Now I know that some airlines won't let you check it through, but when I asked the bus driver, he said that the amount of baggage was pretty typical. I had to wait for a second ME bus because the first one got filled up. Good thing I got in line four hours before my flight instead of three.

I'd say that we also got about 6 inches of snow.

Nabbie - I hope you're not planning to go anywhere tonight!

I couldn't get out of my driveway this morning due to the slight incline at the end of it. I managed to slide off the side of the driveway where the snow was over a foot deep while trying to back up to give it another go. Since I was trying to get to a doctor's appointment before the holidays, I had my (very grumpy) hubby pick me up at the end of the driveway and take me to my appointment in his 4-wheel drive truck.

My hubby said it was probably a good thing I got stuck in the driveway because I probably wouldn't have made it very far with my car and would have ended up needing a tow from God knows where. Needless to say, I called into work to let them know that I wouldn't be making it in today.

I'm not quite sure when I'm going to get my car unstuck :headache: Maybe when my FIL comes to plow our driveway, he'll borrow his brother's tow truck so he and Don can get my car out and put it in the garage. Where it will probably sit until Monday. Grrrr. At least it looks like the snow has finally let up.

At least we got the TV set up last night :thumbsup2 It took us until 2 am

Mony- would it be ruining my trip-report-I-am-probably-not-going-to-write to say that after my experience checking luggage at the ME counter at Pop I probably would have made my 37 children schlep the luggage to MCO too. I hope your travel is safe and uneventful.

MommyP- Do you want me to send the expired prenatals? They were good till 2/08. ;) I went to Target today and while it wasn't the worst thing evah, it was a ZOO.

Moo- Sheesh some people will do anything not to go to work including driving their car into a snowbank. Just kidding! I hope you get unstuck soon and enjoy your afternoon off to rest after the late night. :wizard:

BBN- yes! for reals. It is sunny and warm here too. At least 36 degrees. I may need to get out my bathing suit. @@

BDG- a city dude? I am now picturing the East River and West River people as roving gangs that have dance offs.
