My daughter arrived home a bit ago!!! :yay: Her drive was pretty tiring, so she's going to soak in the hot tub for a while. It smells like skunk outside tonight, so we have all our windows closed. P.U. The downside of living in the country.

L - Has Natasha taken any other dance classes before? Let us know how she likes her hip-hop class!

Stay safe, Marita! Hope you can find a good time to visit your mom. Too bad knitfreak got her request in before you did. Hopefully your DD has some girlfriends to talk to about her break-up.

Steph - Sorry to hear about your MIL's diagnosis. How long did it take? Seems like it has been weeks since you mentioned something about her.

Cel - Can your stomach handle apples? I had one from my cider mill trip earlier today and it really hit the spot.

Moo, yay for having Mari home!

I really realy miss having Chris around. He used to stop in 2-3 times a week even with alll the hours he woirked, Now it will be Christmas if we are lucky

I better hit the sack now! Why can I never get to bed at a decent hour? :confused3

GOOD MORNING!

Monica....Woke up thinking of Tim (and you) today. Prayers sent.

Moo.....Glad Mari is home and safe. Thanks for the link to Jan. codes. I'm hoping the codes are good for Jan. 1-8 at least but with Jan. 1 being on a Thursday I'm betting all the hotels are full through Saturday. According to Mousesavers the Jan. codes seem so come out around Halloween each year. I'm just impatient. And of course I'll need a DING to go along with that code, please. ;)

NAB.....My mom has corelle plates and I HAVE seen them break. But not with ketchup. Very theatrical! Way to go!

Lynette....Brownies AND dance?! Lucky girl! What activities is Boris doing? Soccer? And sumpm else?

EVERYBODY HAVE A GREAT DAY TODAY!

Good Morning!

Monica- Thinking/praying for Tim today too.

Little G: Welcome back! You were missed. Glad to know you are finally out of the doghouse. ;)

Moo: Yay for having DD home!

Marita: Go see your mom. I also lol'd over the "living on less seminar" as given by MommyP and Lexy.

Utah- What is up with this JackMo stuff? a) it cracks me up b) I doubt it c) what is next? y'all visiting a baptist church or sumpthin ;)

Java & Nab: Wierd about the sudden Correlle breakage. My inherited correlle is still going strong. I did ditch all my glassware just a couple of months ago. It was the stuff I bought when we got married (11 yrs ago) and it was at the point of a piece breaking every month. I was sick of cleaning up glass especially with little barefoot ninja children about.

Celery- Hi. I haven't forgotten you. Just busy around here.

Lalijack- How was hip hop/brownie day? Wednesday is my most busy day. Goldenchild has gymnastics 1-2, then the Twinkies have gymnastics 4:30-6:30, and all the kids (including the big guy) have AWANA (it is a church activity- requires a uniform like scouts however) 6:30-8:30. :faint: The real trick is managing the space time continuum so I can pick up the girls, feed them dinner, get them in uniform, and halfway across town all in the same moment.

PJ- I am sorry about the car troubles that are preventing your laptop purchase. Any cute kid stories?

BNCG- Hi. pirate: :flower3:

Lexy- You sound busy. How is the new job working out? and the afterschool mimi-care? Are you still doing the wuckety job?

MP- I think of you often these days. How is the sling business going?

And a big shout out To Anyone Else I May Have Missed.

Quick fly by to say prayers being said for Tim and Mony.

Hi everbody else! :wave2:

Mony-- Thinking and praying for you today.

Moo-- did you send me this cold weather this morning. I had to wear a coat walking the kids to school. Glad your dd is home again.

Hope Mommy P and Marita stay out of IKE's path. Sounds like Florida is in for some nasty weather.

Well both kids are back to school. Now I have to wait all day for the dryer repair man. I tell you first the washer now my dryer. I should have stuck with my old set. The dryer shuts itself off after I turn it on. :sad2: The old dryer didn't turn off at all that is why we got a new one.

I hope all goes well with Tim, Mony!

Twinkie
- I need to get working on that Mei Tai for Chad's friend. The canvas came in the mail. I still need to get some Minky, but if I can't get any coupons she's going to get a silk backed one instead.

I hope TGM comes out with a Holiday's 2008 article soon. We are really going to have to sit down and decide what we really want to do and what we're going to have to wait for next time. I think Kaleb might be tall enough for the 40 inchers this time, so I definitely have to take him on BTMR and Slash. But I think we'll skip Space Mountain this time, unless we can use babyswap in our favor. I just don't know how baby swap works in the holiday times. I have to get over to TGM and ask around. (They're nice there)

It's raining again today. I was able to convince Chad to take the truck instead of his bike. It was storming in the distance when he left, I'm not comfortable with him riding in the bad weather.

So I went over to the Mom's Panel thread and asked some questions, which were totally ignored. I guess I'm not invited into that little group. lol

morning all!

prayers being sent for mony and tim

twinkie - let me know how that space time continum thing works.

sorry about your MIL, java.

mommyp - my questions on my homework discussion board keep getting ignored too.
maybe they're in a conspiracy with the mom's panel. :rotfl:

I ate most of a waffle with breakfast.
now I feel wuckety. :guilty:

Monica-Lot's o' prayers for you both ...and a :hug:to you!

Bindi-JackMoBap?
You have got the kids-activity "sh"edule nailed :thumbsup2
You need some you-time, mama! Bunko?

Nab-Lovely waiting for repair-people. I'd hate to be without my washer and dryer for any amount of time.

MommP- It's raining here too. Or at least it will be any second. Your over the shoulder baby holders are really catching on! You should sell them on e-bay or etsy or something. Really!

Allie- Hi girlie!!!

Java- Nope. never have seen a Corelle dish explode. AWESOME! I have shattered a casserole dish but sticking it under cold water while it was oven-hot. It was freakin' cool!

BH- How YOU doin'?

Marita-
I hope DD is fine! :flower3: poor dear!

Moo-
Yay on Mari arriving! I'm excited for you!

Lynt- You and Twinkie make me feel guilty that my boys are only in scouts. And violin (Dallen). Maybe there's a Playstation league of some sort. :rolleyes1

BbN & PJ and anyone I may have accidentally missed-like Celery, for example

Hi Wendy, Im doing fine going to be heading to Bowling Green this afternoon after my Massage Therapy and move out of the antiques mall that closed down when Mr Murray passed away. Ive been in that mall since 1995

burning sling question:

on the sling you made for me is it possible to make it reversible?

like black on one side and green on the other???

if not is there another pattern that would work with?

also- I agree that the metal rings are prettier than the plastic/teflon/bubblegum ones- BUT it just occurred to me that a non metal sling would be IDEAL for airport travel:

any thoughts on this:confused3 but maybe the increased cute of the metal is worth actually deslinging to go thru the metal detector.... hmmmm...

My mom has taken the matching t-shirt thing up a notch. Clan Twinkie will be waltzing thru WDW in matching jackets. Spendy jackets suitable for actually climbing everest. Ok- not really. But really nice lightweight rain proof jackets sold at places like REI.

The kids are wearing green and the adults black. No goofy hats however.

That I know of.

Twinkie - Yes, it is possible to make that sling reversible with black on one side and green on the other. And black plastic rings wouldn't look too bad with those colors. If you have to buy 2 different colored fabrics though it would use more fabric to make a regular sling(30+ inches wide instead of 22 inches, and no middle seem "pouch") so you would use all the fabric you buy instead of having huge scraps. Although you could get a couple of little Twinkerbell sized doll slings out of those scraps.

Yo, Moovers! First things first: I said a special prayer for the Mony family today. Hope Tim is doing well.

L - Has Natasha taken any other dance classes before? Let us know how she likes her hip-hop class!

No, Moo, but she took gymnastics for 3 years. When we signed her up for Hip-Hop, it was during an open house at the studio. The director let her take a practice class. That was thrilling enough for her, and then the dance instructor decided to use "What Time Is It?" from HSM for the practice music!! :faint: I thought Natasha was gonna penzance! (TM BBN)

Lynette....Brownies AND dance?! Lucky girl! What activities is Boris doing? Soccer? And sumpm else?

Melinda, Boris does soccer and Scouts. Plus, he and his BFF are batting around the possibility of karate. Oy. Also, both kids take Spanish (it's an extracurricular) after school on Mondays, and they have CCD on Saturdays. ACK!

Twinkers, I will know shortly...Natasha's Brownie meeting is 3:45-4:45. Hip Hop is 5:30-6:30. At some point prior to bedtime, there will be supper, homework, showers, and mandatory reading time. I need more hours in the day, people! Srsly!

Lynt- You and Twinkie make me feel guilty that my boys are only in scouts. And violin (Dallen). Maybe there's a Playstation league of some sort. :rolleyes1

Heh. Our town is a very "join-y" town. Everyone is involved is 63 activities. Leaves VERY little time for pursuits such as dust-bunny control and laundry monster training at the ol' homestead, KWIM? I often find myself cleaning bathrooms and folding clothes around midnight. Blech!

What a waste of my day waiting for the repair guy to come. He was here no more then 5 minutes tops.....grrr.

All he is said was I need a new senor and he will order it and be back in a when it is in. He also asked me if I knew that the dryer is not suppose to run when it has no clothes in it. Why would I even turn it on with no clothes in it. :confused3 That is all he did, turned it on and it ran for a few seconds. So I have a dryer, with clothes won't stay running but with out them it will. :sad2:

I have to check to see if Hannah wants to go in skating again , if not all I have scheduled is swimming lessons on Weds. I am just glad Nicholas never got into hockey , now that is a crazy schedule and expensive.

Hope the weather holds up because I think I will be doing this for awhile:laundy:

though i already.."dying" with the crud....mp, you're killing me!

they were acting out..big surprise?] me thinks snot!....however, knowing
this.....before hand..& also knowing that disney's offical policy.."is to make
everyone happy".....meant...using my "professional redirecting/limit setting
skills....which..i had no trouble doing! ha!...before going on a 7 dayer..or
longer cruise........it is benficial..to read...the "meeting site"...as to
prepare the types..of guests...one might be dealing with. :rolleyes1

..& remember, not everyone..posting about our cruise...were telling
the truth. wow..so many are complaining & reporting bad behaviors..
& such...........leaving ..a sour impression? by grapes!...in reality, we
paid..big $$$.....but this cruise....met all our expectations & beyond! and
like always....all the unexpected....surpirses..made his cruise!

nooooooooo utahm, sweetie......not the indy ride!..the show! ,,,,i

:dance3:  :dance3:

fyi...as we heading to the park....thru downtown disney...i hit a slippery spot

...and did a 1-1/2 gainer...bouncing up...without missing a step. good thing
the cameras..were off...:lmao:

* crocs..+ water= "spills" . not bad...eh?..when you think..about the jet lag.

 ..it killled me...& we slept alot..the first..3 days..though i still
managed..to get into...a lil'trouble, :rolleyes1 . wanta kno something? i
would share on our cruise site..but there too much hostilities..&

negative..attention seeking..leaving..very lil' room for tolerance, :snooty:

..just like..green acreas.."this is the place for me!, :flower3: "

* ironic..we did not ride..the jungle cruise..instead..i was just "visiting"
when we bumped..inot oue..'dream~maker"..might be a tip..for others?

Lil'g-- love the pictures. Jordan is beautiful, all dressed up on the cruise. Either she is getting taller or your shrinking :lmao: Lovely family in matching shirts. Did you give all your pillow chocolate to your wife? What was your returning gift on this cruise? Was 15 days long enough...

LilG! Look at Jordan! Awwww! She's soooo tall and beautiful! Y'all are such a sweet family
I would have loved to see your half gainer ! LOL!

OK Everyone- I sort of confronted Poohgirl and BlowOutBoy's mama. It's the 10th, and she's very late in paying me (recall last months late check bounced!). So I asked her when she's going to pay me...and she proceeded to rattle off all her bills (ACK!) and I interrupted her with, " I'm sorry, I love them to death (lie) but I can't watch them without payment" I said it nicely because I DO understand. I just want her to realize it's not a good thing to have a ticked-off day care provider. GAH! I feel like such a co-dependent wimp! IF she wasn't my neighbor, it'd be much easier!

Anyway. Hopefully this will work out
