I wanted to ask DD if they are staying on base or off (if was iffy before), But all I got was a MOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!! We are not calling you 9 more times tonight!!

LOL! I'll bug her tomorrow when Chris is busy.

DS wanted to make it there for an early morning base orientation, that is apparently vital. SO they made it in time for that. Plus he didnt lose 3 leave days, YAY. Hopefully he will make it home for Christmas.

No, they dont say that really. But frigging 1,200 mile trip with BOTH my Kids in the car is something to worry about in my book!

But they made it so I will put it behind me!

I think it's about 1200 miles for me to drive to WDW. So I know how long a drive that can be.

Nebo - Your drive to WDW must be in that vicinity too. Did you start your thread? Hmmmm. I wonder if you should put it on the transportation board??

I won't drive that far in one fell swoop any more. I'm getting too old! It's two days or I fly nowadays.

Hi Moo, I cant remember how far it was for us to drive to WDW ...Donald did all the driving since we borrowed his siters suv.....but we spent the night on the other side of Atlanta both ways.

minnie, what a great idea! the transportation thread! as you all probably know, Nebo does all the driving, and does a WONDERFUL job! I am in charge of packing (too much), navigating (getting us lost) and unpacking (fixing his after drive manhattan!).

Two more days til school starts! I've gotta wake the kiddos today before I leave. We're trying to get back on schedule.

I didn't do a darn thing all weekend except read. Should've forced the kids to go to the pool I guess. Not much more time for that.

I was thinking, (again?), that since no real life people want to hear me talk about Disney anymore, about starting a thread just about tips for those of us that drive to Disneyworld.
Crap, out of 13 trips down there, 10 of them were by car, I have learned a LOT since my fledgling trips. For us, NW of Chicago, it's a 2600 mile round tripper, and you either learn to do it right, or you quit doint it at all. Whatcha all tink? Dumb idea that no one will read?

If so, no problems. I will go quietly into that good night.

Yesterday was Zach's 10th birthday and we spent the whole day at Comerica Park at the Tiger Game.

Madelyn's 1st birthday is Wednesday.

I have 2 weeks until we leave!

I am one tired momma.

Zach partied way too much and was in the bathroom for part of the night. Then after dealing with that, so did I. Yuck!

I am so used to eating healthy, the ball park food and cake did not agree with me.

Well, the movers rang the doorbell at 7:43 am!!!!!! I was still sleeping

Anyway, they got everything loaded and were gone by 8:30 or so. So I could have gone in to work after all But I decided to save on gas and dirty emission and all that stuff (for the sake of the enviroment, of course!)

I tried to call DD this morning to see what is happenening, where they are staying, and all that stuff, but she was still sleeping and not in the mood to talk.

Lexi, Nicole is scheduled to fly home on Friday.
