GOOOOOOOD MORNING!

It's weird waking up and my boy not being here. I miss him. Emily is home and tired but she has a new perspective thanks to the study on developing countries that they did at camp. Totally worth the cheddar on that one.

Emily and I watched An Ideal Husband last night. If you like Oscar Wilde comedy then definitely rent it. I wish I had The Importance of Being Earnest here too. I just love Rupert Everett.

Today I'll run the vacuum and clean the boy's room....since he's gone....and the video controllers are put away. Gotta do what I can do as we leave on Wednesday. I think there is internet down there. Not sure.

I hope Lynette has a safe trip. I meant to give her my phone number and forgot. I hope she and PJ find WT. I told her to look for a tank top and a Goofy hat.

Thanks for the POP info everyone. I'm going to call today to see if I can switch the reservation. If I can't get POP, what then??? Music? Movies? Pop just seems the most centrally located. On the map. Although it seemed like it took forever to drive there. :confused3

Wendee....I only talk sports if I have an interest in the team or player...so in other words...it's rare. ;)

Marita
.....Don't get your own room. Keep the same hours of operation as your family on the trip to Montgomery. My DH does not keep our hours but it always bothers me that he can't do it even for a few days while we're on vacation. Seems like he could for just a little while in the interest of peace and family harmony. RE: Kona....the crab cakes are wonderful and come with a little salad in the middle. Just ask for some of that honey-lime dressing on the side and it's a meal. Wendy & Mimi liked the coconut chicken...also with a salad on the side. Mimi ordered it twice.

EVERYBODY.....:wave2:

HAVE A WONDERFUL, RELAXING, BLESSED SUNDAY!

“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” - Philippians 2:9-11

GOOOOOOoooG Mornin from Indiana!! (free internet here too!)

Marita crab cakes were ok - but I think it will be a goog choice for you - you can get the leftovers to go!!! I love their sticky wings, and the teriyaki (salty sweet soy sauce, ginger and pineapple) beef - but we've not eaten there for dinner... I hear you on the hours - everyone's still asleep but me!!

Lexi Pop was centrally located, and we did like the bus service so much better than POR! It can be loud, and there is no refrigerator - so check out the Budget board for a free fridge swap!

(OK, guilty of no going back and read other than this page!!)

I meant to log in yesterday before we left - got all the way to typing one word, before I got booted off...

Mony cant wait to see the "ham" pictures!! :goodvibes Cant believe how fast they grow up!! I guess I'll try and get a picture... oh wait, didnt bring my camera!!

I was so tired last night that I just collapsed after cleaning up a bit.....the party was a great success and everyone seems to have had a good time.....Plenty of food and fruit and mini pastries. I kept six bismarks for today.....hahahah....I slept like it was going out of style and still I am tired....only 30 people were here but invited the usual 50 or so....Some didnt RSVP and that rips me up....if you dont want to come ....fine .....but just a little courtesy and say so......I still bought enough food and sent home some with relatives...late last night we had our neighbors come over for a beer and some finger rolls....and salads....and desserts....hahaha.....they let some of the relatives park in their driveway too.....I have a SIL that is .......well.....she is that.........so she was sitting in the living room and doing her sewing (she always does that) and our granddaughter who is 2 stood in front of her looking at her with daggers......HONEST.......she had her clowny in her hand and sucking her fingers and her mom said........where do you want to sit Megan....and she pointed at the chair (when they stayed with us she always took a snooze in that chair) SO she said please to my sil and SIL finally got up and moved..Megan got in "her" chair and I tucked her in with the blankie and said something to someone and looked back and she was sound asleep.........it wsa her nap time......
SOOO we had a great time and I am not dressed and Doubt if I will make it to MASS ......I could I guess but I would fall asleep with no AC in church..I will promise to go next week cause it would be my mamas birthday.....

OK.

Changed the resort reservation but had to stay at POR. No availability at any value and not likely to be any according to the CM. She said even if the free dining rooms are canceled, they are not likely to become available again to people switching resorts.

I'm sure there would be something available if I wanted to upgrade but they don't want you paying any less.

I just want to save that $500 if I can.

Lexy what did you have to change?

Pumba I love hosting partys! Sounds like your went well.

Sandy per your request:

Lexy what did you have to change?
I booked the "in case we win the powerball" package on the bounceback so I had to change practically everything but the key thing I changed was that I went from deluxe dining to regular free dining. The CM had to get "approval" for that so I could stay at POR. I also knocked off two nights of the stay and changed the participants.

This must be some preconceived notion of this precious child. It is dated 2 1/2 years ago.

Oh, ME! ME! Mr. Cotta! That is definitely something I can plan for. Do we at least have a month in mind lexy?

I never remember to set the date on the camera. But it was only taken a few days ago.

During September free dining 2010!

As long as we don't arrive on the 18th (Emily's birthday), I'm good to go!

What no trail of bread crumbs?!!!???

I know you guys were trying to lose me but they don't call me Nancy Drew for nuthin ;)

What no trail of bread crumbs?!!!???

I know you guys were trying to lose me but they don't call me Nancy Drew for nuthin ;)

Sorry, Nancy! Shoulda sent a PM :lmao:

Hope you're having a great vacation!!!!!!!!!

Lex - Sorry they didn't have any value rooms or you to switch to. At least they were able to make your other changes.

Disney is about the only place where I'm excited enough to get up earlyish to make park openings. And I'm not able to do it every day. Of course, since it seems like I always have a cold or bronchitis when I'm at WDW, I usually run out of steam and can't do everything I'd like to do.

Marita - I have to say that I'm with you about getting connecting rooms. I think it might be more comfortable . . .

Sandy - Hang in there!!!

Mony - Awwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such BIG blue eyes!

Pumba! I'd be tired too. I'm having a relaxing day myself, just reading mostly and playing with the pups. I did manage to make some spaghetti for dinner. Now I need to make my list for the Schwans guy tomorrow :goodvibes We're addicted to their pizza rolls lately.

OH moo moo moo........I have not seen my Schwans man for at least a year and a half.....I miss him.....whoever it would of been....they shut down our area for deliveries......not enough customers I guess......i was willing to get the hot wings and the breaded mushrooms and the little pizzas and the burgandy pot roast and the ice cream cups......and the ones in a cone with nuts and chocolate on top.......OH I MISS HIM>>>>>>>>WHAAAAAAAAAa......I used to say I was serviced today by the schwans man......every one would crack up......oh well I can live thru your schwans man deliverys........:rotfl2:

we are ready for some storm.......the winds have been blowing all day and now the clouds are here.....dark and chilled........cant believe we can go from 80 to 70 and windy and chilly.....but heck I will take it........

Okey on my way to eat MORE leftovers.......gotta love that:thumbsup2

Sorry to hear Schwans won't deliver any more, Pumba! I figure the prices will increase soon due to the cost of gas, but we have a Schwans depot nearby, so hopefully they'll keep delivering.

Mony, I've never tried their cheese.

We just had a hummingbird outside our living room window. When we first moved to our house we had a honeysuckle bush there, but one of our dogs dug it up. I always wonder if the hummers remember that and come back to find it :confused3 Not sure what their lifespans are.

The campers are home.... Rained pretty hard last night when we went to bed, but turned out to be a nice day so we stayed longer.

I am beat but I told hubby I had to be home for Big Brother !!

Now it is my job to unpack get the wash going, get everyone cleaned up and in bed.

The trailer is parked at a water park about a half hour from our house. We are paid up for the week so we can come or stay as much as we want while hubby is working. My kids are going to be water logged at weeks end.:lmao:

My curtains come tomorrow for the kitchen and we have a baseball game tomorrow so maybe it will have to wait until Tuesday though.

Pumba-- hope you don't get a bad storm. But we did have one last night. Wind and heavy rain.

We don't have a schwan man here....

Lexi -- I need to do that with the kids rooms....Nicholas just kept the ticket off the dash the campsite gives you....:sad2: I here you on the controller too!

Marita-- I am jealous of you being in WDW everyday. But I know you are working so I second Moo's comment about the times you eat out.

Moo-- I think fairs have shrunk too. But when I go back to my old high school I think boy the school has shrunk too... Everything looks bigger when your younger I guess.

Sandy-- sorry for all the family drama they put you though.

Goog Evening Mooovers A big Mooo Hoooty to everyone.

DD1's baby shower was a very nice event. She got lots of beautiful gifts, we ate and played the usual round of silly, fun games, and she and the guests all had a good time. DD was in good spirits but did mention that the father is not interested in attending childbirth classes with her, and he sure doesn't sound like the sensitive, supportive type. Just as I feared, I don't think their relationship has much of a future. Everyone was trying to convince her to move out and get an apartment with her older sister or someone else who would be more of a help to her. I think she'd be better off. If the fellow can't be bothered to spend two hours in a class, imagine how much help he is likely to be taking care of the baby.

Sandy My sypathies on your own family issues.

NAB Welcome back from your camping trip. I don't envy you the whole unpacking and laundry process. I used to do that frequently during our days of Civil War reenacting. We were always physically and mentally drained, and the last thing you feel like doing is unpacking.

Monica Cute picture!

Well, I've been gone since 7 O'clock between church, flea market and the shower, so time to catch up on some things around the house. I plan to sleep in for my birthday and then go out for lunch!

H all!

WB Nab.

Never seen a hummingbird IRL Moo!

Dang on the family dramas, SIS and Sandy

Pumba, YAY for leftovers. I attempted again to make dumplings with a can of Chunky beef soup, I failed again miserably. But it was edible at least.

My mom called today, and asked about DD and DS. she was very confused. I told her we are going to see DS on August 6th, and she said, isn;t it August already? I said, no, it's July 13 today. Then she said something about Firday the 13th being a bad day. I said, MOM, today is Sunday, not Friday! Oh yea, she said. Plus she is getting hard of hearing it seems.
On the plus side, her friend took her out for coffee and cake today, and mom wss able to make it up and down those nasty winding stairs.
She asked how DD like the Netherlands (remember, she left early to escape mom). I said, she didnt do much, she was only there a couple of hours.
Mom said, "what she made a mistake?) OK, in fairness, it it close phonically.
ME: Sie hat nicht viel gemacht.
Mom: Sie hat einen fehler gemacht?

Oh yeah, and she totally forgot my birthday!

Honestly, I am scared to go visit her later this year. I'm afraid I will want to run away like DD.

It's really sad, she was at the top of her game just in February, before she broke her hip. But at least she is living at home.

Looks like Lynette had a soggy start to her vacation. It poured buckets at noon today at my house, and then more rain a few times later today. The paper said at least 2 more days like it. But later today the rain wasn't too bad, just some light rain mostly. I live 10 mnutes the other side of the airport from Disney, so it might have been a bit different there.

ETA: DS just called, they are getting their official AF pictures taken and he asked how many we wanted.
WOOHOOOO!! The end is getting near. And so is the beginning........

Can't have too many pictures Marita!!

Sorry to hear about the rain for W.T's and Lynette's vacation.

Everyone is in bed but me. I have the third load in the dryer and since our dryer doesn't shut off I decided to wait up for it and Big Brother. Which I think is off to a good start.

I did miss America's Got Talent. I like that one too but it seems to be on when something else is and I forget to set the recorder.

Kay-- glad the shower went well. I love seeing wee little baby clothes etc. Makes me want another one or wish I knew someone having one that would share.... What are you going to do for your birthday tomorrow?

Can't have too many pictures Marita!!

So true, he said he wasn't going to get an 8X10, but I called him back and told him to get at least one.

I love seeing wee little baby clothes etc. Makes me want another one or wish I knew someone having one that would share....

Maybe you should talk to MommyP and/or Twinkie???????
