Moo, my friend, I can always count on finding you late at night, LOL!
although I am copping out now.

I agree, that is an awesome Moovers pic from Rumbly! Thanks, BH!

Night, and a great Saturday to all (although I think a good portion of the Moovers have something called "a life" and are not around, LOL)
Ha! I went to bed shortly after that post, Marita! But then I couldn't sleep because I had some iced tea too late last night, so I read for a couple hours :rolleyes1

Kay - Glad you found us over here. I see they have closed our old thread. So I took the 249 out of our title.

Mony! Madelyn is so cute!!! The pups had to come see what I was looking at when they heard her. They love finding tissues and paper of all kinds on the floor too :scared: And then I have to pick up all the soggy bits. Also, I love your rug!

Moo: Did you see that L? She called me spirited! Although she said it as spirited. I had to ask you Moo, since you were in on that chat and I was clearly not myself. You know what stinks? Besides the redhead's feet after he wore his "swim shoes" all day to play in and I have since thrown them in the trash without his knowledge. Surprise, surprise I got distracted. What I was saying is: It stinks b/c lately I have been too busy to be spirited. :guilty:

Lexi: All I know about Pop is we stayed there once. The rooms are small, the walls are paper thin, the ambience is fun, and the food court had everything a kid could want. The rooms to us aren't that big of a deal at Disney though, b/c we usually spend the whole time at the park and basically use the rooms to shower and sleep. That being said, if I could afford it I would stay at WL every single time even if it was just to shower and sleep. *sigh*
Yep, bbn was clearly not her spirited self last time we chatted  Seems like many of us have been pretty busy this summer. Might as well enjoy the nice weather while it's here!

We didn't go to the county 4-H fair last night because I was too tired, so I'm waiting for my hubby to get home to see if we're going tonight.

Lex - I'd have to agree with bbn and Mony about the rooms at Pop. But then, I toadily agree about WL too ;) But it's hard for me to spend deluxe $$ when
I'm hardly in the room. On the other hand, when DH and I took our first vacation without our DD once she was in college, we rather enjoyed the amenities at WL. But that was pretty easy to do with a postcard rate :thumbsup2 I'd definitely call soon to see if Disney has any rooms left so you can switch to Pop.

DTD and BH - Sounds like you had a nice evening out last night. Sorry to hear about Frontier leaving you in the lurch, DTD. I really hope Airtran doesn't leave Flint because then I'll have to drive further to Detroit. I'm holding off on booking my flight even though the price keeps inching upward. Wish I knew if my daughter is going to be able to join me in December.

Nabbie - Sorry you didn't get to take your boat ride. The s'mores with pb cups sound yummy!

OK, my excuse is that I just woke up a few minutes ago from a nap. When I looked at my pc, I saw the last line of the post and read it as:

The s'mores with the pups sound yummy!

It's a sad day, Nebo just posted his last post on his trip report.

Hey Cellery...you should really find the nearest Beef O'Brady's there wings are really much better than Hooters....unless your there for the visuals :lmao:

DS is now at the beach!

And.

I threw away roughly two tons of crap from his room today!

:cool2:

I do that too! :cool2:

I was at work this morning when my cell rang. UNKNOWN. Doncha just love those calls. Well, it is the weekend, and I am hoping to hear from the Forestry Department, so I answered. It was Frontier Airlines.ohoh. They are packin' it up and leaving Lou uh vil. NOOOO!!!!!!!!
She gives me a choice,, full refund, or we can fly out of another city, one of which is NashVegas. Same days, roughly the same times. So, since our rate was under $200, I took the Nashville flight. Cel, we'll be down about 6 that evening. j/k, we'll crash at my sister's and make her get up at 3 am and drop us off. Or maybe just have her pick the car up for us.
BH and I had our mini-meet last night at Smoky Bones. He called and said he'd be there in a few. I got dressed, finished what I was doing, and headed over. We were both about the same distance away. I ordered a Stella, and looked at the menu. I then ordered the sampler-4 ribs, 4 wings, 2 bbq sliders and a mound of onion fries. It comes about the same time Pluto arrives. Just sayin'. Bones doesn't have a computer setting for Stella, so my bartender charged me for a Bud Lite. BH got a little poed, his charged him for a premium beer. hehehe. We both got another. Stella that is, the appy was huge. As he mentioned, he made a payment, so I've got some money from everybody now.
WARNING!!!SPORTS RELATED
Hey, Lexi, I'm watchin' your homeboy tearing up another course. KP is leading by one and on fire. No one as old as Kenny has ever played this well in this long a stretch. He's won over 25 million dollars now and ain't slowing down.

HOLY crap, I almost read something sporty... :scared: THANK GOODNESS you warned me!!!! :scared1:

Good news on our Franklin boy! I love to see him win. But poor guy....they print his year to date and career to date earnings in the Franklin Favorite on a regular basis. :confused3

That's great that you get to keep your rate on Frontier. Nashville is no further for you although it may be a little further for the other guys.

Whoaaa! There it is. Sports. From my girl, too!!!! ;)

Morning all,

I survived first night of camping....:lmao: And the smores yummy. I brought reeses peanut butter cups to melt this time instead of plain chocolate.

OMGosh that sounds kinda good! pirate: Better than my stupid carrot coins with hummus dip, anyway.

Is it time to hold hands and sing Kumbahfrigginya? :rotfl2:

Seriously, this is a lovely group of people. I am thankful to know you all, and to have the benefit of your friendship! :grouphug:

YOU are welcome! :upsidedow P.S. s'yer turn Lynt.

Alright. I've gotta brag. Check out this pic of me from last week.
It's a really good pic of all four of us. We think we're each gonna frame it. :lmao:

It's me, Bridget, Ben and Angel. It's from our company picnic last Thursday.

Monica- LOOK at how big your baby girl is! I can't believe how freakin' cute she is! :cutie:

Check in, lost kids!

Lynette......Bon Voyage! :wave2:

Thanks, my super-special travel helper!

Lynette: Good luck trying to sleep tonight!

Ha, Mony! The house is clean, we went out for supper so as not to make any dishes, everything is packed. But I can't sit still! I paced while we all watched Enchanted (LOVED it!), and now I keep running to my lists to check and double-check things. :hyper: Ack! Hope I can get up at 6am!

SnarkbRitches: Nutso? Takes one to know one. Have a great time in Disney! Here are your dancing bananas, as requested.

Yep! Takes one, indeed! Thanks for the good wishes and the groovy fruit! Hee!

Don't anybody do anything fascinating while I'm away, 'kay? I hate to miss stuff!

I have to go check my lists 12 or 13 more times, and then put my head on my pillow for a bit. Just wanted to say hey!

Cya next weekend!

Lynette, HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet you will check back here before you leave! :3dglasses Cause you can't sleep, and someone might have a fascinating story ;)

Have a magical vacation, Lynette and family!!!

Hope you get to meet PJ! :dance3:

Marita, Lex, and Mony - Sorry your Nebo trippie is done    Hopefully, he and Smidgy will still hang out on the CB.

DH made it home and we went to the fair and had some dinner but didn't stay long due to the noise (Motocross or something). Corn dog. Fresh cut fries. A JUMBO homemade lemonade. And we brought home some caramel corn for dessert.

DH said to me that the fair just didn't seem as big as he remembered it from his childhood. It's just not the same from an adult's perspective. The last time I recall really enjoying a trip to the fair was when Mari was little and she rode a bunch of rides and we traipsed around to see all of the animals. We even used to go into the cow barn, LOL!

LYNT!!!!

But, Shirley you'll take your laptop so as to play with me?! :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

Have FUN! We are expecting a mini-TR of some sort, missy!

(soooooo jealous!)

My next vacation is 3 days in lovely Montgomery, Alabama in about 3 weeks. w00t! and 2 days of driving :drive:

We're only jealous when you get to eat at the goog restaurants, Marita!!!

Did WT already go down to WDW???

I'm going to Kona on Thursday, but quite honestly, I am not that fond of the menu. I might have to go for the chicken sandwich, and I am not much of a chicken fan. Might have the crab cake appetizer too, but I don't remember liing it all that much last time, and I can't eat all that anyway.
On the other hand, I don't have to pay for it, and heaven knows I have had more than my share of stress lately, so I might as well go for it.

Not sure about WT, but I think he is probably gone by now.

Marita, this is what I had for lunch at Kona:

Polynesian Plate Lunch - $14.99
Traditional Hawaiian favorite served with sticky rice and macaroni salad, featuring your choice of:
--Chicken with Peanut Sauce

It was pretty much just a Chinese chicken dish, but it was good. I thought it was kind of odd that they served macaroni salad with it though.

I've heard that the crab cakes there are good. The macadamia-crusted mahi-mahi looked pretty good if you like that sort of thing. I think that may have been what Cel had.

I distinctly remember that Cel got the chocolate banana creme brulee for dessert and shared it with me . . . it was heavenly!!!

Thanks Moo. I'm not a fish fan either, LOL. I'm more of a beef lover. But we shall see. I will definitely ll try to fit in the banana-chocolate dessert if I can, but you know me by now, I can't eat much, which sucks for occasions such as this, LOL.

Wendy: I know I forgot about my scrabble games, but if I promise to be good now and play every 22.3 minutes, will you start one with me?:lovestruc

I just was a tad busy these last few weeks.

Moo
: Got the rug from Lowes.

Our old neighbors came over and took a bunch of pictures of the kids with their fancy smanshy very expensive camera, and when they send me them, I'll post some of her. She was posing big time. I have another HAM.

So I looked up the hotel I think we will be staying at in Montgomery (or one like it) and they have free Internet :yay:

Then I thought (again) about sharing a room with DH and DD for 4 nights. We do not have the same hours of operation, in terms of waking hours, LOL, So that sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. So I might spend part of my stimulus check on getting a separate room. Yeah, I think I will ....... $75night isn't that bad (with 50% off). Worth the price of peace.
An not to mention different tastes in TV shows, although that is probably not that important this time.
Connecting rooms are a wonderful thing!

Going to talk it over with DH tomorrow.
