Why is it that every time I have a day off, people are busy?

Boss called this morning, I don't have to work today after all, he is just going to change things to what he thinks they should be for now. Still bugs me, but I can't do anything about it now. Oh well!

MommyP- Mine is the 7000 and it has such a hard time pounding through many thicknesses and denim. It helps if you get the sharper needles. For everyday sewing, the Brother machine is awesome!

I've heard if you are going to do any upholstery work or similar thick fabrics, to go with some industrial machine. Or spend BIG money for one that can tackle the thicker pieces.

Hello all.
I'm back at work today.
From 10 am til 6 pm.
I have a meeting at church today, so I figured since I have to drive 120 miles (round trip), I might as well stop at work and get paid for it.

It sucks because breadman is already off work today and the ex came and picked up the kids. We could've had fun napping!
Oh well.

Hi to all, you know my memory issues.....

Just made a run to Burger King for lunch. Why are there 12 million people on the road at 2:30 on a Friday??????? Shouldn't they be at work or cooking dinner or something? Now it's raining, so at least I missed that.

The office team went for a looooooong lunch at Ale House today.(Out of pocket) As much fun as that might have been, I still prefer to stay home and not drive for 1 1/2 hours.

The boss scheduled a post AOP celebration lunch for next Thurdasy at Kona. (On the Mouse).
I think I may go scan the menu and then take a nap....

So we just got this severe thunderstorm warning on TV for near MK, winds at 60 MPH. I tried to call office folks to tell them to get out of Dodge, but it seems they already left. What's up with that? Looooooooooong lunch and get out early?

Oh well, it's been some long days at work!

Hi all, checkin in on the noo thread.
I've had this tooth problem for about 5 years called an exploded tooth. That just means it has extended out of the gum. Today I sneezed and the tooth, which was loose, came out. No blood or pain. Never really bothered me except when it pressed against another tooth and caused pain. I ate a great shrimp lunch 5 minutes after it happened.

Celery.....you look simply amazing.......just wonderful........thanks for sharing all the photos of everyone....some day I may have some savay and know what to do or how to do it.......I can do send photos in emails but dont know the rest of the stuff..

Stay safe Marita.......we have had some wicked storms this week and they made poor Megara pace back and forth......last night she had a stinky poopie....and today she upchucked in three different places.....so we decided not to send her to the fat farm tomorrow but keep her in her kennel tomorrow and in the spare room.......that way she will be with us before the gathering and after the gathering....dont want someone else having to deal with her being sick....I made her the chicken burger and rice stuff that the vet makes us do for boo boo bellies.......hope she feels better.....

I have pretty much everything ready to do for tomorrow......we have to pick up the dogs toys...(and I mean we could fill three bags of stuffies and balls that are hers) and her three beds and the covers on the couch and chairs....I am ready for action....just have to pick up the finger rolls tomorrow and that is it.....oh yah finish the pasta salads..almost all done....

everyone is welcome....come on down.....well actually that is come on up.......hahaha...

Cel: Honey you look fanstastic! Holy bejeezees! Just wonderful.

Well, he's clean.

His final diagnosis was Renal cell carcinoma, stage 3, and it was malignant which we were expecting. margins clear and no metastasis to three lymph nodes. The tumor was limited to the kidney.

The Dr. almost yelling at me, cause I was so on him about how certain he was in getting all of the cancer and he told me, "CAUSE I KNOW!!! I got it all."

It must have been the language barrier that I confused what he told me after surgery but they did nothing to his muscle. It was just pressing against it.

But because it's all gone, it's not a worry.

Althoug he does now have an apt. to see an oncologist for monitoring purposes only.


So, we paused in the hall way, hugged and kissed and sighed a huge sigh of relief.


Thank you everybody for all of your thoughts, prayers, wishes, kind words, and just letting me know that there are so many good people still out in the world who do care about others. I will always be grateful for your support of this.
