Cel...Batman is my friend Steph. She's actually the one who convinced me to switch from being a traditional ed major to being Montessori.

I early voted yesterday. We waited in line for an hour. Has anyone else voted yet?

Pick me, pick me!!! I did an absentee ballot since I'll be in Orlando on election day. I chose the lesser of two evils.

I am bracing myself for mass chaos tomorrow. The kids were already all wound up today. Oy. They're allowed to wear costumes tomorrow, which surely won't help anything. I've already come to terms with the fact that we will get nothing done. My class has been nicknamed the Montessori Army because I have my kids in order like the good little students they should be. "Class...MARCH!!!" jk. Anyway, I'm sure the army is going to fall apart tomorrow and I am going to have to chillax. I like my sense of order!!

Well, I guess this is my farewell post. Tomorrow at this time I'll be headed to Saratoga Springs! I don't think I'm bringing my laptop. Hope everyone has a fantastic Halloween, see you next Thursday!

Moo, you got a Halloween costume for your dog WHY??????

I finally found a pair of earings I wanted, for $76 (on sale). But not only are they backordered, they are down for scheduled Maintenance now, GRRRRR!

Oh, and I want to order these new wide backings for earrings. Little plastic things. They come in packs of 10 for $1.21. I am feeling very odd trying to order things online for $1.21!
Anyway, I think I will wait till tomorrow to order anything, I spent enough money lately!

Oh, Peej, I feel your pain. Miss Allie had to fill in for the 4 year old teacher today. Her FIL passed away this morning. My 4 yo kids were bonkers. All the kids were so loud at lunch that the director had to tell everyone, in a somewhat loud voice , that they all had to be quiet at lunch. Well, that lasted about 2 minutes. Tomorrow is our Halloween party, so I'm sure they will be extra wound up tomorrow too. Have fun in Orlando!

Pumba - Why is Megara on Prednizone? My Trixie has been on it for a month for her allergies. Her feet are flaming red all the time. We had our first frost the other night, and the vet felt that once our grass died, she should improve. Oh, and I knew it made them thirsty, but I didn't know about making them hungry. That explains why she keeps sneaking into the pantry, and helping herself to the treats.

Moo - I think mine are going to wear their costumes from last year.......Thing 1 and Thing 2.

Marita - That's some expensive earrings! Meant to tell you that I was sorry to hear about your son.

Nab - My 15 yo told me that he needed a big bag of candy for extra credit in his Spanish class. They are having "Trunk or Treat" at the high school tomorrow night. Hey they had buy one get one free bags of candy that I scored. And YES, I'm not above paying money for an extra two points for my kids grade.

Thing 1 and Thing 2, Allie? Cute!!! Two of my coworkers dressed up as them a few years ago. I need to wash my new Disney shirt to get the sizing out so I can wear it to work tomorrow. I'm still kind of wound up from working late again tonight. Probably from eating too much chocolate too

Marita - I bought the costume for my dog because it was cute (to annoy my hubby). He gives me a hard time when I dress her up. I bought a bandana and sunglasses for his dog

BTW, I had some peanut M&Ms tonight.

I may try to swap it tomorrow after work, but it will probably be a zoo, so I'll end up just returning it.

Thanks about my son. He called twice this week, he actually sounds pretty chipper. He turned in his choices for alternate jobs today, and bases, he should find out in about a week.
From what it sounds like, almost everyone is being sent to Space and Missiles. 20% space, 80% missiles. Like a build-up?. He put in for Logistics and Communications as his first two choices. So we shall see.... I hope he gets based in Tampa or Melbourne. Or he could end up in Montana!
Anyway, his contract did get shortened to 4 years.

And BBN, he didn't fail tests, he failed some sort of space orientation ability. He aced all his academic tests.

Maybe its my fault? I passed on bad genes?

Nab: Me? In the arcade? NEVER. Arcade games are just a way for me to veg out. Plus when I'm home by myself, it is a motivator. I tell myself play one more game and then go clean for an hour (or whatever it is I need to get done) and then I come back and play another.

Yesterdee I saw a disturbing Halloween lawn display:

Sheeted, pointy-headed ghosts holding sheet "hands" in a big circle around a tree. IN the tree was a witch in black with a black painted face. It was a little KKKish and has been bugging me!

I had to buy crappy candy so I wouldn't be tempted. I did the ironic combination of Smartees and Dum Dums. Which is all good till my precious angels come home with bags full of Reeses that I have to "inspect" (sneak).

No I'm not above ripping off my kids' chocolate.

hello........my puter bit the dust.....so I am on hubbies puter......I just walked down the street and past the house that burnt yesterday......it was on for four hours.....very long day....Megara was a good girl and didnt bark at the fire people or the police people or the red cross or no one.......had quite a few in front here......I couldnt leave the house or go outside because of the fumes were toxic they said......so stayed here with Megara...

megara has allergies too......she itched off and on and made a boo boo on her back side and her tail.....so pred for now........she does look better and is a little goofy too...... wish she would stop barking at the fridge and the sink.......weird doggie....

Utah I would be very upset with that kind of halloween display........scarey and not really appropriate ....
