I know I can ALWAYS at least have lunch or tea with Marita.

Yep, for sure

Marita, have a goog LeCellier lunch!!! The filet is super delicious. It usually comes with risotto. Hope they'll substitute polenta for you.

Dang, I meant Risotto, LOL!

Just shows you how my usual grilled cheese diet goes, I cant remember the dfference.

Oh speaking of lunch, we took the new analyst at sister hotel (meaning same boss) out to lunch today at ESPN. I walked over with the girls. It was HOT! Lunch was flavorless, I got the hot roast beef with horseradish on the side. I might heat some of it tomorrow and dunk it in beef bouillion. I took the boat back. I told the boss I was done with ESPN, too much walking and even driving doesnt save any time.

Why is sports again interferring with my TV schedule?

Steph, how's the packing coming?

It's getting there. I always seem to end up doing my own last.

I took my youngest to the hairdressers for a cut for both of us. I committed to bangs!! I think I am going to like them.

Ok, off to get some more stuff done...

This is a major prayer request for Tim. Please say a prayer for him. He really needs it.

He came home from UC and said they are treating him for kidney stones. All they did was a urine sample and gave him 2 scripts. He took his meds and within 15 minutes he was vomiting.

I called urgent care and they told me since his pain was still severe to go to the hospital. My BFF was just picking up her daughter and said she'd stay with the daycare.

ER did an xray and CT. They xray showed something small there and the CT verified it wasn't a stone.

His right kidney is twice the size. He has major blood levels in his urine. There's something there they are concerned with. The cheif resident was brought in to discuss this with us. He said it could be cancer several times and apologized twice. They admitted him and a urologist is going to see him in the morning to do a test probably with a scope and a sample. IF its cancer they will remove his kidney and they said his other one looks very healthy.

Please just keep him in your prayers/thoughts. Thank you. I'll probably be at the hospital once I can get things figured out tomorrow.

You got it lady. Hope you get better news soon.

Monica lifting Tim up in prayer - I'll be happy to add him to our church's prayer list - you cant have too many people praying!!

Peace to you, and may the Lord be with you, and help the doctors as they work to heal Tim...

major

Mony, praying for your DH.

Dang, just too many prayers needs lately for just a nice group of people,we deserve better! Strike that, that would maybe not a good remark?

Holey carp you guys have chatted up five pages since I left early this morning...it was avery long day.

Mony, sending prayers for Tim. And YOU and the kids as well. Hang in there.

Please know we are here for you :grouphug:

Hope you can find someone so you can be with Tim at the hospital as soon as possible. No offense to any medical professionals here, but I know from experience that it is very important for Tim to have an advocate with him.

DH is taking himself to urgent care.

He urinated and it was bright red.

30 minutes later he's in terrible pain, right side toward his back. He's all sweaty and I did not like his color.

ACK!

sounds like the kidney stone kinda pain I had a few years ago.> No fun at all...you cant get comfortable no matter what...good pain meds :stir: do the trick every time to calm down that quivering blader tube spasims betweent the Kidney and blader...

woops I posted this before I read the 11pm update about DH's enlarged kidney....prayers on the way

Monica - saying a prayer for you and Tim. We are here for you.

Also saying one for your RED WINGS!! Finish it already! 3 OT's! :faint:

Morning all,

Raining here this morning....

Mony-- prayers sent to you and your family. Keep us updated.

Lynette-- every thing crossed for you as well, when was the last time you were in WDW? After all that hosting of parties you need some fun.

Marita-- Have fun today. Eat!!

Moo-- Low budget is better then nothing. Hope your dd comes with you.

I am waiting on the tile guy to come do a service call, why did I know he would be late.

I am letting the kids sleep a little longer this morning because Hubby let Nicholas stay up to watch the hockey game and we all know how late that went. And they were not quiet it about it either so I couldn't sleep they woke up Hannah too. Nicholas is cheering for the Penguins so he is happy!

Major prayers to Mony and hubby.

Marita - I liked the polenta, not the risotto. It was very sweet.

nab - I can't believe Nicholas and hubby stayed up to finish the game! they said here it went until 1 am. Tell him I'm in pittsburgh this week, so it's all anyone is talking about! All the stores and restaurants have signs everywhere saying "Go Pens!"

Let's hope it flies! BTW, credit where it's due: I now have a degree in Spousal Management with a concentration in Vacation Coercion (from Twinkie University, dontchaknow!)

Please cross all appropriate appendages for luck, peeps!
Tee hee. This made me giggle.
I havent figured out the crossing of eyes or teeth yet! But then again, those are not appendages
this made me giggle too!

Hi to everyone else!

So this trip hasn't had an ER visit.
Yet.

But there was an incident.
I'm traveling for business this week and me, my friend Bridget and my friend Michael are all staying in the same hotel.
So Bridget made Michael and I work out last night.
Ok.
So I'm not the most graceful person in the world.
Heee.
I was on the treadmill talking to them about work and I kept getting slower and slower - and kept sliding back farther and farther.
So I fell off the treadmill.
And couldn't even move out of the way! It's like I was stuck in slow motion!
So here's the pic:

Wow, so sorry to hear this turned out to be something more serious than "just a kidney stone." Lowell has had kidney stones three times and they're bad enough! I'll be praying that the doctors and medical staff make a complete and proper analysis of the problems and that Tim quickly gets the care he needs. Also, praying for you, as going through situations like this with someone you love is very stressful. I hate seeing anyone in pain or discomfort and knowing there's little or nothing I can do.

Oh dear! I'm sorry you got hurt. The bruise looks painful! It makes me think, though, of a cartoon with some character like Wile E. Coyote who falls off the back of the treadmill, gets sucked under the machine and comes back up on top still stuck to the track, and repeats the loop over and over. :rotfl:

Celery-- if I knew the Pens were going to win I would have sent him to bed earlier knowing there was another game to come. But if the Wings won and the Stanley Cup came out I would never of heard the end of it.

I am paying for it this morning as is he. He wouldn't get out of bed, wonder why that is....:headache: Mean mom made him get up and get to school too.

Celery that looks painful, I am trying to tell what body part that is (shoulder/back?), can't get over how many freckles you have.....:lmao:

All appropriate appendages are crossed

Nab, my trip is somewhat iffy and will be a low budget trip since I have the annual pass. Although, I will pay for my daughter's park ticket and food if she is able to join me. Wish I'd gotten Mony's great code!

L, no need for me to coerce my hubby . . . I will just leave him home with the pups :rolleyes1 He's not interested in another Disney trip until 2011 or 2012.

I know I can ALWAYS at least have lunch or tea with Marita.

Any chance you're considering December, Lynette?!! I'm sure you can find a suitable bribe.

At work, all I need to do to get help (e.g., like today when I needed my file cabinet moved to my new office) is bribe some of the guys with a KitKat candy bar or two ::yes:: They're always happy to help out, but I like to sweeten the deal once in a while so they're willing to assist me the next time, LOL.

Marita, have a goog LeCellier lunch!!! The filet is super delicious. It usually comes with risotto. Hope they'll substitute polenta for you.

Shoot, I'll move your file cabinet for a kit kat!

Oh NO! Definitely in our prayers. poor Tim! Make sure he eats a cracker before his medicine maybe?

120.00 is my quess if it has a 30 gal tank on it

I WISH! (higher) Actually, Monica guessed $135 which is what it took last time but it wasn't on empty :scared1: and I'm not factoring in the Cheese Its and Grape Fanta also bought.

OUCH!!!! (cute freckles! You've almost got a solid freckle tan.)

Morning, everyone!

Mo
, I am praying for your family, and especially Tim. Hope the doctors are able to bring him some relief and a quick return to health!

Lynette-- every thing crossed for you as well, when was the last time you were in WDW? After all that hosting of parties you need some fun.

Thanks, NAB! We were at WDW in June of 2006. It was a first trip for all of us, if you can believe it! And I agree...we definitely need some fun! I'd like to go before the summer's end, since taking the kids out of school is pretty much out of the question. Boris will be in 3rd grade in September, and the entire year is pretty much devoted to standardized testing. The curriculum is pretty rigid, and doesn't leave much leeway for missed days. :(
