Marita -- you have to do the hot stone massage. We did a couple one when we were in port. They have deals on when you are in ports because most people get off the boat. We did both, meaning we went into Key West and then went back early to get our massage.

Twinkie -- glad Grasshopper fits the outfit now. Glad I didn't get the 6 month one , it would have been summer by the time he fit it....:lmao:

Thanks, Nabbe, consider that advice taken! Going for the hot stone massage. Now I just have to figure out how to book all that stuff.....

Smoffing = organizing Science fiction conventions.

As in:

n. Smof --Secret Master of Fandom -- is a term used by some to refer to a person who runs SF conventions and does other fannish activies that keep the gears of the fannish community turning. If you think you are a smof, you probably are.

And, yes, I have been known to watch Malcolm in the Middle :scared:

Twinkie thanks you for that useful post. I must have played hooky that day at Math Camp.

Wow Tammy! Quentin is 10 months old already? Little Grasshopper will be 3 months tomorrow. He has been on a growing streak-needed all new clothes. He finally fits the darling (and oh so warm and snuggly) outfit Nab sent. He wears it to church but I have yet to get a picture of him in it- he always be'urks on Sunday it seems.

I hear ya on the growing streak....and the be'urks issue. Quentin did that A LOT---more than Anthony or Jeanie...but we found out (I say we...but actually Crystal and Mike)....that he had infant GERD. Poor thing was so miserable. After they put him on medicine for it....he's not be'urked much since. He still has his moments. And he's crawling EVERYWHERE. He crawls up to me just as fast as he can and butts me in the leg. Then he climbs up and waits for me to pick him up...which I do. And here lately, he's been standing for several long seconds. I'm trying to teach him to walk...but he thinks he can get somewhere faster by crawling...so he plops down and takes off.

Jeanie's been helping me clean the guinea pig's cage each week. She thinks she's big stuff. AND when I'm not here, she sneaks into my room and feeds Amber (my shihtzu...and was named six years ago) puppy treats. And she fixes her a bowl of food and puts it in her crate...I don't do that. Amber has her own food and water bowl here in my room (Jeanie thought the two should be mixed together when I had it in the hallway). But overall...she's such a cutie.

Anthony asks hard to answer questions...but he's ok. He cracks me up sometimes.

Hey Twinks....keep an eye on ur little grasshopper....He'll soon be big and you'll miss the cuddly days! (Least, I do sometimes. But I love how mobile my Godchildren are.)

Thanks for the godchildren update Tammy! I love cute kid stories. The days are long but the years are short as they say. I thought Grasshopper had infant GERD (one of my others did-she is still on medication) but in his case the meds don't seem to make a difference. Our current theory is hair trigger gag reflex aggravated by chronic congestion due to being born in cold & flu season. He is cooing and waving his arms and batting at toys.... and grinning. I love those baby smiles :)

AWWWW that is so cute. One of my friends told me about Gripe juice. She swears by that stuff. I think you can only find it online. I can't say yeah or nay about it....because prevacid actually worked on Quentin.

The kids are my saving grace these days. And church. So....I'll talk about them all day long!

LOL, they just had this ad on TV about crescent rolls.

Flaky on the outside, soft on the inside.

It reminded me of all my friends here.

Love you all :grouphug:

EEK, I just noticed the cat on the top of the couch looking up to the ceiling. A gekko thingy is up by the ceiling, a small one. But they are harmless, and eat bugs, but still not something I would love to have around the house.
And I am NOT going to try to kill it or try to catch it, so it is on it's own.......

You think DH would mind if I woke him up to get it since he has to wake up at 3am?

The cat's glare is fixated on the ceiling...........:scared1:

Aw...poor Marita...it won't harm you.

Hope the cat doesn't get it. (I don't like animals eating other animals...Unless it's something eating a snake. Then I say by all means!)

Tammy, the poor critter is all the way at the top of the ceiling, so I doubt the cat will get it anytime soon. But she is still staring at it non-stop. I guess that will end once I go to bed, LOL.

Adding that we have once a year pest control, so hopefully the critter will have NO bugs to eat in the house (I hope)! So either eaten by the cat, starving, or hopefully escaping somehow.

This is all the cat's fault anyway, because she insists on going out with the dog, but is hesitant, so I leave the patio door open a bit, so I guess how it got in.
Oh great, now the cat is trying to climb the wall, LOL!

oh, hey...i forgot to mention until now that one of my individuals and her mother got me a sorcerer mickey and gave it to me yesterday. It was soooo cool.

as in the cat will go to bed with you? wow. My ex from a long time ago had a cat who stayed up for hours at night....but then...so did the ex!

Um...thanks? And  to you!

As for the critter, ACK! I don't tolerate vermin or skittery thingies of any sort. If I were you, I'd have already woken up my DH! Double ACK! :scared:

Not necessarily, I was thinking that once the lights went out, the cat would calm down, LOL. But then, they CAN see in the dark.
But the cat does sleep in my bed sometimes too, and tries to drink from my water glass, which annoys me a lot!

How cool about getting that gift, Tammy!!!!

My girlfriend gave me a bottle of Gripe water when I watched her daughter. It had what looked liked arabic writing on it. She got it locally, so I'm thinking an ethnic store may carry it. We have lots of areas where you can shop for ethnic foods. There's an idea where to look.

They are totally harmless. And the cat is STILL staring.
OH wait, she just gave up!!!!!
DH would not be happy if I woke him up for nothing when he has to wake up in 4 hours........

Yep, I know that they're totally harmless. But they're still icky. Just the idea of that thing skittering around while I'm asleep.....*shiver*. Gives me the hebegeebees!!!!!!!!

Yes, I see it. And it's now official....I have cruise envy! (No, Twink...not Tom. :rotfl: )

We have a rule here...Let sleeping babies lie....I'm sure this philosophy would be true for Marita-only it would be: let sleeping husbands lie!

Thank you, I have earned it, never been on a Disney vacation of any kind. Just back and forth to work for 35 years.

So thanks, I revel in your envy for now :rotfl:

YW, Twink! Courtesy of Ms. Google.

I can't believe Grasshopper is already 3 months old!

:rotfl2: I saw that commercial this weekend  I got a big kick out of your ticker. I agree with Nabbie - go for the hot stone massage.

Tammy, glad you're enjoying your time with your Godchildren.

:thumbsup2 on the :smickey: :)
