We have a change of plans due to family emergency and am now going to be in Orlando on 1/26. If you have an extra for Hollywood Studios Moonlight Magic, I can repay the favor with an extra for Animal Kingdom Moonlight Magic on 2/12.

Even if you don’t need the Animal Kingdom, I’d be very grateful if I could use your extra for Hollywood Studios.

Curious how that would work?

Would the member with a spare ticket just add you to their MDE and then you can get in if you are with them when they go through the gates?

It’s not run through MDE. After the main contact checks in with the DVC rep, everyone just gets a wristband at the gate. So as long as you’re with that person when they enter the gate, they can give you a wristband. It’s very easy and all you need to do is show up at the gate when the main contact tells you to be there.
