Hi folks... long time listener/reader, first time poster.
My wife's parents became DVC members several years ago to use for their only grandkids (our kids) and us. They are not using most of the benefits, including special events. We are actually going to be on property during one of the events, and we had hoped to try to get into a moonlight magic event.
We have been told, and I believe correctly, that we will need to be named on the deed in order to access these events (become cardholders ourselves.) Do you know if this is 100% true? They are in the their 70's now, and do not want to attend this late night event.
Curious if any of you have had experiences being able to access the park with the membership card, but in our case it would not be our name. (they would be on the matching room reservation, though)
We have engaged DVC membership about this, and we have initiated the deed change discussion.
